NRL Round 6 squad announcements

Official team lists, updates and injury news for the sixth round of the 2021 Telstra Premiership season.

Broncos: Five-eighth Anthony Milford has been dropped and his place is taken by Brodie Croft, while Tesi Niu makes way for Jesse Arthars in the centres.
Back-rower Ben Te'o is scheduled to undergo surgery this week and will be out for at least 12 weeks after suffering a biceps injury against the Rabbitohs. His place on the bench is taken by Ethan Bullemor.
Patrick Carrigan returns from suspension at lock, pushing Tevita Pangai jnr to the second row and Jordan Riki to the bench.
Panthers: A clean bill of health was the icing on the cake after last Friday's 30-10 beat-down of title rivals Canberra and Ivan Cleary has the luxury of naming the same 17 to face Brisbane.
The only Penrith players sidelined at the moment are fullback Dylan Edwards (hand, round 8) and hooker Api Koroisau (wrist, round 8-10).

Knights: Three big ins for the Knights with Bradman Best (elbow), five-eighth Kurt Mann (concussion) and prop Jacob Saifiti (suspension) all back on deck.
Best's return sees Gehamat Shibasaki drop out of the side while Connor Watson shifts from five-eighth to lock to accommodate Mann's return.
Saifiti returns on the bench with Pasami Saulo dropping to the reserves.
Cessnock product Brayden Musgrove has been named to make his debut on the wing.
Edrick Lee (foot) and Tex Hoy (hamstring) are another week away while Phoenix Crossland (knee) could be back in round eight.
Sharks: Skipper Wade Graham and centre Josh Dugan will both miss the game after failing HIAs last week at the SCG. Graham has had two concussions in the space of three weeks and said on Tuesday he's a "week-to-week proposition".
Connor Tracey moves from the bench to the centres to replace Dugan while Briton Nikora is back from suspension to fill the hole in the back row.
The new man on the bench is Siosifa Talakai.

Storm: Craig Bellamy has gone with the same 17 players who piled on nine tries against the Bulldogs.
Nelson Asofa-Solomona has been named at lock with Tui Kamikamica on the bench but the two powerhouses may trade places on game day as they did last week.
Premiership centre Brenko Lee (hamstring) has been named among the reserves but there is still no sign of lock Dale Finucane (calf).
Roosters: Hooker Ben Marschke is headed to the judiciary on Tuesday night to challenge a crusher tackle charge arising from Saturday's win over the Sharks.
Should he be successful he will slot in at No.9 to fill the void left by Freddy Lussick, who suffered a fractured arm in round five and could miss 6-8 weeks.
If Marschke is found guilty he will miss two games and the Roosters will be forced to dig even deeper into their hooking stocks.
Prop Lindsay Collins returns from the head knock and ankle injury he suffered in the loss to the Rabbitohs while Adam Keighran is the other new face on the interchange bench. Fletcher Baker has gone to the reserves.

Sea Eagles: Gun fullback Tom Trbojevic makes his long awaited return from a hamstring injury at fullback.Trbojevic's last game was in round 19, 2020.
Dylan Walker, who filled in at the back in the opening five rounds, faces an extended period out with a hamstring injury.
Haumole Olakau'atu (elbow) returns in the second row and bench utility Cade Cust is back after missing round five due to a virus. Tevita Funa has been named among the reserves after coming off the bench last week.
Second-rower Jack Gosiewski could be out for the season after suffering a foot injury in Manly's drought-breaking win over the Warriors.
Titans: Justin Holbrook has named the same 17 which was so impressive against the Knights in round five.
The only concern is winger Phillip Sami who suffered a head knock and is going through HIA protocols.
Veteran winger Anthony Don (hip) has not been named but the club expects he'll be "definitely right" for the following round's clash with South Sydney.

Rabbitohs: Cody Walker returns from suspension to reclaim the No.6 jumper, pushing Benji Marshal back to the bench. Playmaker Dean Hawkins, who debuted off the interchange against Brisbane last week, was unavailable due to a gash that required 15 stitches suffered post-match.
Prop Liam Knight, who had been ruled out indefinitely because of ongoing concussion symptoms, is a surprise addition to the squad in the No.19 jersey, replacing Steven Marsters in the reserves.
Wests Tigers: Jake Simpkin finally gets his chance start at dummy-half with previous incumbent Jacob Liddle sliding to reserves.
Asu Kepaoa replaces Joey Leilua after the centre, a late addition to the team for the clash with North Queensland, failed a HIA after lasting just 13 minutes.
Former Eel Stefano Utoikamanu, who has looked better each week, swaps places with prop Zane Musgrave while Tom Amone is the new face in the reserves.

Raiders: Centre Curtis Scott (ribs) makes his comeback from injury, sending Sebastian Kris to the reserves, and hooker Josh Hodgson (hip) has also been named to face the Eels.
Caleb Aekins comes into the side at fullback in place of Charnze Nicholl-Klokstad (neck), who failed a HIA following a head knock he suffered in the first half against Penrith.
Veteran forward Ryan James is out of the 21-man squad with Joseph Tapine named at lock and Emre Guler the new face on the interchange. Sam Williams and Semi Valemei make way for Kris and Matt Frawley in the reserves.
Eels: Dylan Brown has been suspended for one game for a crusher tackle and his place at five-eighth is taken by Will Smith.
Ryan Matterson makes his return in the back row after missing three games due to concussion and that forces Isaiah Papali'i to the bench.
Keegan Hipgrave has been recalled on the bench after being left out last week.

Dragons: Coach Anthony Griffin has named an unchanged 17 following the upset win over Parramatta.
New recruit Josh McGuire is named after his move from the Cowboys and Billy Burns joins him in the reserves with Kaide Ellis and Max Feagai dropping out of the squad..
Halfback and captain Ben Hunt is hoping to return from a leg fracture in round eight.
Warriors: Peta Hiku (knee) earns a recall and takes the place of winger David Fusitu'a, who suffered a hamstring injury in the narrow loss to Manly, while Marcelo Montoya has been named after copping a head knock at Central Coast Stadium.
Josh Curran gets a start in the second row with Eliesa Kotoa dropping out of the squad.
Bunty Afoa and Jamayne Taunua-Brown are available after serving suspensions with Afoa scoring a spot on the interchange, replacing Tom Ale, and Taunua-Brown being named in the reserves.

Cowboys: Forward leader Jason Taumalolo has been named to make his return from a hand injury, prompting a pack reshuffle. Last week's lock Coen Hess shifts to prop, forcing Francis Molo to the bench and interchange forward Reuben Cotter out of the squad completely.
Justin O'Neill (head knock) makes his return from injury in the centres in place of Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow (ankle) and fellow returnee Mitch Dunn (foot) grabs a spot in the reserves along with Peter Hola.
Connolly Lemuelu has been named despite being under a cloud with a shoulder complaint.
Bulldogs: Skipper Josh Jackson, who went off midway through the second half of the Storm thumping, is out with English forward Luke Thompson replacing him at lock.
Chris Smith moves from the reserves to the interchange and Matt Doorey is the new man in the squad.
Lachlan Lewis (head knock) was a chance of returning this week but will have to wait until at least next round.

Not sure how much he is on, but Isaiah Papali'i must be the recruit of the season. He has been an absolute powerhouse for Parramatta and tonight he has scored two tries to make it four in three games.

We're seeing a new Mitchell Moses this season, his kicking game is the best I've ever seen it, he is taking on the defense and running the ball more and his defense is stronger as well. Playing smarter this season.

Ben Cummings doing everything possible to keep Canberra in it, he hates Parramatta. It's an almost a guaranteed loss when he is announced as Referee of a Parramatta game.

Parramatta were brilliant tonight, especially in the second half. Totally outplayed the Raiders, outmuscled them in the middle and looked speedy out wide.

Yes, just watched the game and agree with all that. A real wake-up call for Raiders fans, Parra were much better in every department. I've always liked Moses, he is a very talented player, and he was terrific today.

Agreed. And it's all very well saying, what about Latrell? But two wrongs don't make a right. I think there are coat-hangers and coat-hangers, but by any standards that was a really bad one, and the red was deserved. I've long said that NRL refs are too unwilling to show reds, compared to the ease with which they dish out yellows. AFAIC, serious foul play dangerous to player welfare should be met with a red card.
