Rabbitohs: Hopes that Adam Reynolds (thumb), having avoided surgery, would be available have been dashed with Wayne Bennett forced into a massive backline restructure.
Benji Marshall takes over at No.7, Cody Walker moves from fullback to five-eighth, Alex Johnson takes Walker's place at the back and with Jaxson Paulo (wrist) out the new wingers are Steven Marsters and Taane Milne. Braidon Burns returns from a long-term knee injury to complete the overhaul by taking the place of Campbell Graham (hand) in the centres.
Tevita Tatola (head knock) reclaims his place in the front row with Jai Arrow dropping back to lock to cover for the absence of Cameron Murray (ankle).
Jed Cartwright (back) returns on the extended bench but star fullback Latrell Mitchell is still two weeks away from completing his suspension.
Storm: Bench prop Nelson Asofa-Solomona and winger George Jennings have been named to return from head knocks with their stand-ins Chris Smith and Dean Ieremia relegated to the extended bench.
Harry Grant's role as the starting hooker has been formalised with former incumbent Brandon Smith the new No.13.
Star fullback Ryan Papenhuyzen (shoulder) is at least another week away from a return.

Panthers: Kurt Capewell (rib injury) has been named and will have to prove his fitness before taking on Cronulla but otherwise the Panthers juggernaut rolls on. Liam Martin has been in superb form and could slot seamlessly into the starting side should Capewell be unavailable.
With the same match-day 17 named the only change to the squad is uncapped rookie lock J'maine Hopgood coming on to the reserves bench in place of Brent Naden.
Sharks: Centre Jesse Ramien (glute) returns after being ruled out of the Melbourne game with utility Teig Wilton slipping back to the interchange where he takes the place of injured prop Braden Hamlin-Uele.
Hamlin-Uele is set to miss eight weeks with a syndesmosis injury in a blow to Cronulla's forward stocks. Andrew Fifita has failed to win a recall despite having completed a three-week suspension for a crusher tackle in reserve grade.
Matt Moylan (quad) remains on the extended bench while winger Ronaldo Mulitalo (knee) has had his return pushed back at least a week.

Eels: Coach Brad Arthur has named the same 17 with Nathan Brown (hip) retaining his place at lock despite looking certain to miss at least some time after suffering a painful knock in the win over the Bulldogs.
Junior Paulo has been restored as starting prop after a late switch with Oregon Kaufusi last week while centre Waqa Blake (calf) must wait at least one more week to make his comeback.
Roosters: A horror night at McDonald Jones Stadium has triggered a cascade of changes with James Tedesco (head knock) again named to return from injury with Joseph Manu switching back to the centres in place of Brett Morris (ACL).
Prop Lindsay Collins (another season-ending ACL) is replaced by Sio Siua Taukeiaho while Ben Marschke has been called up from the interchange to slot in at hooker for Sam Verrills and Adam Keighran inherits the No.14 jersey.
With Nat Butcher named to take over for back-rower Sitili Tupouniua, who has been suspended for one game for a shoulder charge, Jared Waerea-Hargreaves is the only holdover from Sydney's round eight interchange.
Playmaker Lachlan Lam (knee) has been named to make his return from injury on the extended bench.

Raiders: Prop Josh Papalii makes a very welcome return from a week off to "refresh mentally" with fellow veteran Ryan James dropping out of the squad completely.
Halfback George Williams is also back after he was a late scratching in warm-up last week due to a hamstring strain but co-captains Josh Hodgson (calf) and Jarrod Croker (shoulder) have had their returns delayed by at least a week.
Sebastian Kris (ankle) has been named in the centres despite fears he had suffered a syndesmosis injury against the Rabbitohs and will have to be cleared to take his place.
Knights: Last week's 18th man Phoenix Crossland has been tapped to replace playmaker Blake Green, who suffered a rib injury against the Roosters.
Hymel Hunt (hamstring) resumes on the wing with Starford To'a dropping to the reserves.
Lachlan Fitzgibbon (shoulder) and Tex Hoy (hamstring) have been named to make their return from injury on the extended bench but Edrick Lee (foot) will wait at least another week.

Wests Tigers: With Tommy Talau out suspended, Moses Mbye has been named in the centres. Jacob Liddle is the new man on the interchange to cover for Mbye's elevation. Still no James Roberts. Zac Cini enjoyed a fine debut on the wing and has retained his spot.
Titans: Tino Fa'asuamaleaui's return from a shoulder charge ban is a huge boost for a Titans pack that has been outmuscled in recent weeks. Moeaki Fotuaika drops back to the interchange bench.
With winger Corey Thompson set to miss at least eight weeks with a syndesmosis injury, Beau Fermor comes into the centres and Phillip Sami moves on to the wing. New signing Esan Marsters has been named among the reserves and Jaimin Joliffe is on the interchange bench in place of Sam McIntyre (listed as a reserve).

Cowboys: Jake Clifford returns in the No.7 jersey with Ben Hampton missing due to a pec injury. In the other change from the team beaten by the Warriors, Javid Bowen comes into the centres in place of Justin O'Neill. Mitchell Dunn returns from suspension on the reserves list. Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow (leg injury) is still missing.
Broncos: No changes to the 17 for Brisbane. Tyson Gamble and Anthony Milford clicked in the halves and will be looking to repeat that in Townsville this week.
Star centre Kotoni Staggs (knee) is a chance to return for Magic Round.

Sea Eagles: Props Josh Aloiai and Martin Taupau are both out. Sean Keppie moves to the front row and Haumole Olakau'atu goes from the interchange into the second row. Taupau suffered a head knock last week in the loss to Penrith.
Centre Moses Suli (back) is named to return from a back injury via the interchange bench while Jorge Taufua is on the reserves list and an outside chance of playing his first match this year.
Warriors: After suffering a head knock last week, Ben Murdoch-Masila hasn't been named, with Eliesa Katoa returning in the second row. In a positive piece of news, livewire half Chanel Harris-Tavita has been named on the reserves list. He has been out due to a foot injury.

Dragons: Tyrell Fuimaono has been named in the centres to take the place of the injured Zac Lomax (dislocated thumb). Despite suffering a rib injury last weekend, Cody Ramsey has been named on the wing. Matthew Feagai is named on the reserves list and could come in if Ramsey doesn't play. Wingers Mikaele Ravalawa and Jordan Pereira are both still suspended.
Poasa Faamausili returns on the interchange bench following a suspension.
Bulldogs: Dallin Watene-Zelezniak is back at fullback with Nick Meaney moving to the wing in a straight swap. Prop Dylan Napa has been named despite suffering a shoulder injury last weekend. Renouf Atoni or Ava Seumanufagai are named as potential back-ups.
After returning via NSW Cup on the weekend, Lachlan Lewis (head knock) is on the reserves list.

Going to be tough for Souths this week with a depleted side, going to be an interesting team announcement this week but even then - there will probably be some shifting around on gameday as we put together a makeshift backline with Latrell, Graham, Paulo and Mansour all out plus Reyno in the halves.

Penrith
Easts
Canberra
Tigers
Broncos
Warriors
Dragons

Much more difficult to tip this week than last week, that's for sure!

I don't watch much NRL but whenever I do Storm are always a very good team. Why is that? Is there an NRL draft? Salary cap equal? Something else?

Great coach and a truckload of young talent always coming through - testament to their recruiters and talent development staff

Every club in the country should be throwing every spare cent they have at Craig Bellamy until retirement deal. He's lightyears ahead of any coach in Australian sport.

Expect Dylan Brown to be gone for a few weeks, the knees in the ribs didn't look good.

Same ref who saw fit to ruin the Warriors v Storm game takes no action on 2 separate incidents which warranted far more scrutiny.

Looked a little directionless without Mahoney but still got the job done, not sure if we have a replacement for him with Will Smith on the injured list and Dylan Brown expected to miss a few weeks. Lussick probably gets the job if fit. Mitchell's kicking game was exceptional, and kept the Roosters ties to their goal line.

Credit to the Chooks though, their defensive was very good tonight, Parra were camped in their quarter and they kept them out for most of the night. Overall and great game to watch, but that was brutal, both teams will have lost two or three players through injury and/or suspension.

Yeah that was pretty ugly. Meanwhile Penrith don't miss a beat, what a halves pairing they have. A pleasure to watch.

Warriors being warriors again.
Line wide open to go 14 up, butcher that try and then suddenly find themselves 12 down and chasing.
