Imagine if tamou challenged that.
So curious thing here will be what’s the outcome? Wests have said they’ll challenge but can the NRL overturn it?
We had a situation in the Leeds/Wigan game last week were Leeds got a breakaway interception. our winger chased him down from the far side of the pitch, and stopped him a couple of feet from the corner flag with a great tackle. By now it was two Leeds attackers v two Wigan defenders. When the ball was played, the Leeds dummy-half dived head-first through the legs of the player playing the ball, and placed the ball on the try-line. Bizarrely, the ref gave a try on the field, and referred it upstairs. The VR agreed, and gave the try for what is surely a stone-cold obstruction. If that was legal, teams wuld be doing it every week, in SL and the NRL? Ridiculous decision, by officials who don't seem to know the rules. At least on this occasion it didn't really affect the match result.

He did try to challenge the offside from the kickoff but was told it’d already been passed as onside.

It’s the same arguments as with Folau - all these guys are tatted up, which the bible forbids. They all wear different fabrics on game day. They all eat meat on Friday’s.
There’s no justification, they should all be deregistered by the NRL given the precedent set with Folau.

Playing rugby league at the highest level on good salary is a privilege.
So what? It's their life.. they chose what they want to do.. unless its stated in their contract... their club can gagf... maybe if the abc community want their colours on the jumper... then they can pay for a sponsorship like all the other companies... their only selling point is not being called homophobe , transphobe or some other phobe which it appears the 7 don't really care for.... so maybe they can put up some cash...

They can choose to not wear the jumper and not play and the club can likely choose to tear up their contracts and the public can choose to call them homophobes.
My issue is with people hiding behind an ancient book and then picking and choosing which parts of it they wanna worship. It’s pretty clear they’ve chosen the no homosexuality but because it aligns with their antiquated views but rejected the not marking their skin cause the like ink. That, is pathetic, just be open about it.
They are open about it... hence they standing down...
