Crazy game, such an un Penrith like second half. If you’d have told me they were up 14-0 at HT, I would’ve expected them to carry on and win by 20-25 points. Certainly wouldn’t have expected them to go scoreless.

Not sad to see the reign over, shame it’s going to be either Brisbane or Melbourne that’ll win it. Go Storm I guess

The FG attempt in the dying seconds was the most un Penrith thing ive seen in a long long time, just terrible awareness and game management.

In reality we (bronx) scored two of the three tries completely out of our ass, not through good play, just dumb luck and effort, the third try took two pretty sepcial solo efforts.

Absolutely fantastic finals series. I’ve loved it even if my team didn’t make it (again)

It's a tough choice for NSW NRL fans, support a QLD team or a VIC team, at least Gus Gould will be hating both teams equally.

I watched very little of the second half - I slept a hangover off for most of the game in fact, but I could have sworn, and the TV tackle count on channel 9 backed this up in real time, that the referee stiffed them one tackle and that’s why they were so disorganised

Ahhhh I don’t think so but I was pretty caught up in the moment. It looked like Cleary and co wanted to run a play but changed their mind. I’d have to rewatch it to be sure

They really were out of sorts then. So unusual seeing it from them.

Don't think so. They just found easier metres than they were expecting I think. Didn't really make sense to try and kick one on the 2nd or 3rd tackle but they then just ran way too far past where they needed to be (but not close enough to the try line).

They'd have been better off putting a bomb up than getting Cleary to sprint 15m backwards and attempt to kick it.

I do think the panthers have lacked some strike power this year, they should have been further ahead at half time than they were and then were not coming back.

Two absolute heart stoppers for my boys, if we have a third I hope we can get it done again.

I also think it showed just how important a top 4 finish is as well. They did exceptionally well Penrith but I feel that finally caught up with them as well.

It’s certainly the weakest of their last 5 sides but man, if that’s their weakest, what a team still.

So the players just need to make a touchdown now, it's just another reason why rugby league isn't as good as it used to be.

Just need to see hand on ball on ground. Downward pressure term is subjective how much pressure is enough? So they changed rule make it black and white.
