Now this is a concept I can get behind.

Is this like a Magic round mashup?

Careful, you'll be giving the AFL ideas to go along with their wildcard nonsense... :tearsofjoy:
I do this and both teams won in 1999.
Party time.

Lol, it's still not after you edited it :tearsofjoy:

Although given the number of each other's former players each side has you could probably be forgiven.

Anyway, good win for the Sharkies, and for Nicho Hynes. Another one of those guys that I always enjoy watching, but seems to be pilloried on here for not being the greatest player ever. It's a bit like, on a Wigan forum earlier, someone was quoted as saying that George Williams was a 'top' player. And then comments saying, he's nowhere near as as good as Alex Murphy, or Shaun Edwards, or a few others. But there's a bit of distance between saying someone is a top player, and comparing them to all-time greats, for me. Hynes, like Williams, is a 'top' player. And there are quite a few of them. Not an all-time great, and I'm sure neither would claim to be so.

I like Nicho and think he is probably the most unfairly maligned player in the comp.

Every sharks loss is his fault, every sharks win is because of everything from Brandon Trindall through to a combination of the beer selection at Northies and the motivation from MC Hammerhead and the Mermaids.

Disagree with that entirely.

He’s the big money halfback. The pressure should be on him and he’s failed consistently when that pressure is applied.

He’s correctly maligned for me.

Heh, that is so true! In fact, Hynes isn't helped by the fact that Trindall is not all that; he was pretty poor this week,

The Bulldogs apparently make a late "tactical decision" to drop Galvin tonight. Lol.

I think this weekend for the 1st time this year we will our best available and with Origin over (Had 4 players in each Origin unavailable) hopefully we get over the little hiccup of the last few weeks! Will be interesting how he goes. I know everyone is harping on about how can you drop Sexton for Galvin, he is playing so well (Apparently) but look at how many points we score and you have your answer. We win games through Defence but like what happened with Penrith and Brisbane we had so many chances didn't ice them and the better teams will get us.
