(This is a continuation of this thread.)

Inspired by Mero’s fantastic website www.footyjumpers.com, this thread shall illustrate the jerseys worn in the NRL from its foundation in 1908.

Notes

1. Accuracy is not 100% as information prior to the 1990s is difficult to obtain. If you notice any errors, please free to message me with corrections.

2. Unless otherwise specified, the jersey/uniform in each image was worn in every match in the year(s) stated. Prior to 1994, uniforms are listed if they were worn that year; specific matches are not known and some may have only been worn in preseason games.

3. After the year(s) is the jersey manufacturer (where known). Manufacturers are unknown prior to the 1970s.

4. Until the early 1990s, many players wore jerseys with cut ¾ length sleeves, as opposed to actual ½ length sleeves. Overlaps in years is when both ½ and ¾ length sleeves were made and worn by players on a team.

5. Sponsors are not featured, primarily due to the difficulty in getting quality images of their logos.

6. Until the 1970s, black shorts often faded to grey.

In 1979 to 1983 Penrith wore Brown collars on both white versions and Brown versions. From 1984 to 1990 Penrith wore white collars on both White version and Brown Version, there was never any blue collars in 1979. Here are the ones from 1979 to 1982. In 1979 the White version was in all games. from 1980 to 1982 the Brown version is the main Uniform and the White version is clash ones. I will post the ones from 1983 to 1990 in the 1983 to 1993 thread.
