nsw selectors do it again

I know this is supposed to be a footy forum, but i just couldnt let this go, the NSW oops i mean Australian cricket selectors have done it again, plucked someone, anyone from NSW from obscurity (Nathan Bracken) and ignored in form alternatives like Matthew Inness, remember Simon Cook? Couldnt make the Vic side moves to NSW and plays for Australia. What about Anthony Stuart does anyone remember him? Would there be so much discussion about Warne vs Mcgill if Warne was from Sydney and Mcgill from Vic, i dont think so, Warne would be automatic selection as he should be. This discrimination goes back years, Dean Jones comes back from topping the averages on a Sri Lankan tour onlyto be dropped for the first Tes of the Australian summer even though Mark Waugh was nicknamed rings after the same tour for his four successive ducks. Anyway go Hawks, had to add some footy to this forum

MacGill is a far superior player to Warne. Bracken has done little to warrant his selection but if they were really serious they'd give Dave Saker a go.

Mr invisible mullet i thought you must have been crazy with your McGill comment, and your David Saker suggestion just confirms my opinion. Shane Warne is not only the greatest legspin bowler the world has seen as evidence with his performance against WA this week on a wicket not suited to spinners taking wickets such as Martyn and Katich, he is the best CRICKETER full stop in the world in both one day and Tests, matchwinner with no equal. Macgill is a good bowler not exceptional and his bowling average against a weak WI side just confirms this

Apparently A.Border saw D.Jones talking with
a well known bookmaker (jones was telling the bookie to get away from him).D.Jones never gained another selection from this time on..Thought it was worth a mention.
