The LNP election result could have been worse. Imagine if Dutton was an active participant in their campaign. One thing the LNP got right but it was a bleeding obvious decision to make
If Perrottet and Kean give up leading NSW libs they'll move into the abyss like the Vic libs.

Libs need to follow their leadership if they want to correct the party and detach from the nationals

wouldn't be linking perrottet with kean politically. you don't have 2 look far 2 find perrottet lauding trump. he and his family are members of the far-right catholic wing - some say cult - opus dei. and he'd privatise everything that moves given the chance. kean is the hope of the reactionaries. but he faces a strong group of rightists, many religious zealots.

if you saw the a.b.c coverage last night you'd see from the comments of a new right member the difficulties kean will face.

The alternative is them admitting that they are wrong and that the election-winning majority of voters now know it.

which is facing the reality. that is what former party strategist - tony barry - did last night. continuing with the make-believe won’t fool anyone - well, apart from the cookers who will vote 4 ‘em come hell or high water.

they did unleash little johnny tho, despite them knowing he was no benefit 2 them in victoria. a hindrance even.

Murdoch trash: "No no, dig UP!, stupid"

Apparently One Nation tanked because they might have possibly supported a Kean-led Liberal party. That silent anti-woke majority must have all drawn utensils-and-balls then I guess...

* they have no idea - they are celebrating Abbott as their “conservative landslide” - he lasted 2 years you idiot w***ers.

After being told by the media that Rudd/Gillard/Rudd was hell on earth for 6 years the public were pushed hard to vote for Abbott. But once they got a glimpse of his onion eating, shirt fronting, Philip knighting character they turned off him like milk in summer sun. The clincher was the 2014 budget which would've taken an axe to pretty much everything Australians hold dear. He tanked in the polls and they knifed him for Turnbull, who just managed to scrape through. However the conservatives would never allow him there long term so he had to go, and then Morrison was appointed the "centrist" (yes he was labelled that at the time) alternative to Dutton, Liberals launch the biggest scare campaign in 2019 and get back in. However once Morrison was exposed as a fraud when given actual tasks to perform he tanked.

Australians aren't very fond of a conservative government if given a full term to look at them. Campbell Newman was the most politically and socially conservative state premier that's existed this century and he lasted one term with a massive landslide against him when up for re-election. Most of the other Liberal premiers who've lasted multiple terms have been moderate by Lib standards (Barnett comes to mind).

Right wing Americans politics don't work in Australia. For these Sky Drongos they'll have to either ban under 30s from voting, get rid of compulsory voting and then aim to disenfranchise mostly left leaning voters, or spark a revival of fundamentalist religion to get their agenda through.

Comes back to what i said last night about how that stench was finally removed.

He knows it and it's hurting him.

And never forget that Howard showed his true colours the moment he got control of the senate.

The result was a Rudd landslide at the next federal election and Howard losing his seat. Which of course Abbott ultimately managed to lose his seat as well.

And they have not learnt a single thing.

No, they're not part of the same factions, but Perrottet can at least read a room. His religious beliefs don't seem to of affected any decision that the majority supports.

Saw all the comments on the ABC targetted at Kean. They're probably linked to Kean calling out th fed libs (wouldn't of been done without Perrottet's approval) on a few issues (climate change, voice, etc).

And this is a great look at how things stand now. Assembly & Council.

They are all done. I’m not sure how many elections the conservatives need to lose before they relate they are 100% totally unelectable.

They have one state left - then what?
And tassie libs seem to be different to mainland libs (eg archer)
