Another win :o for the bonus point system.

A couple of quick wickets and Tassie shut up shop and tried to save the bonus point which they succeded in doing. Can't blame them really but it hardly makes the game more exciting. When they need 8-10 an over to win it would be lot more entertaining watching the tail enders go for a dash. Plus you never know what might happen.....

Tasmania only just fell over the line for the bonus point. It was funny when the weather was closing in and the umpires didn't know whether to offer the batsmen the weather; and no-one really seemed to know what Duckworth-Lewis would have done to the bonus point.
And I loved that field for the last few balls, with 6 slips, a gully and a couple on the leg side.:) Strange stuff indeed.

But, as Langer's Babe pointed out, it was a good day.:) :)

They had 9 slips for the last ball :D Although I'd imagine that they stretched far enough for them not to be called slips anymore.

At the start of the last over, they had 6 or 7 slips, yet the ball still got through them [although it was Slater].
