Description: Donald is a small rural community of approximately 1700 people. It is centrally situated to larger shopping centres: Horsham 100kms, Bendigo 150kms, Ballarat 200kms. It is a friendly, progressive town and many initiatives have been offered to expand industry and employment in the town. The economy still centres around the cropping and grazing industries. Donald has many lakes surrounding the township and is well known as 'Donald Duck Country'. During Duck Season, many tourists visit the town. Donald has a wide variety of Sporting and Cultural facilities, despite being isolated from specialised services. The Donald people are working very hard to maintain its support services - The Donald Hospital and Community groups eg. Lions Club, Apex Club and St Vincent de Paul, who play an active role in the community. The people of Donald are supportive, friendly and sociable. The parishioners of St. Mary's Parish are closely involved with both the Church and the School and are very generous in their support.

Just going back to the local stuff, Killer.

Do you know if you can get ahold of the Maningrida info? I'll check Footypedia on Gove, and I'll do Katherine next time I'm in Canberra (they get the Katherine paper). How long have Maningrida been playing in the heat?

Keep us up to date with the TEAFL and Tiwi! Especially the ladder and the finals!

I'll put the tiwi results up when their
published but they only put them in the
News every so often.

Haven't been able to get much info on
Maningrida at all.

Back in May I asked somone at Sport
and Rec what the G/Final result was
and he told me the seson was only 4
games in  -so that's all I know

I believe they aren't playing due to the
fear of injury.

Stmarys brought back Willie Rioli and Joe Bray
Dropped old boys Stanislaus and Troy Easton

Shannon Rusca returned to S Districts with
a good display

Southern Districts looked competitive on paper
but like previous weeks were gradually
overwelmed. Not much in reserve either.

NTFL round 5
9/10 November

---------

StMarys V Wanderers
Wanderers though no where near as hopeless
as last season still haven't been able to
put it together for a win.

Their better players
Probably the full back Dempsey (Cause he sees a
lot of the ball) James Sing (good for 3-4 goals but
out this week),Miskin and Crowd fav Mishai Perry

The Eagles line up against Saints, Buffaloes,
and Nightcliff over the next couple of weeks,
so, lifes not going to get easier for them.

The Saints with the Brays Willi Rioli, Jnr Rioli
Jnr JNR Rioli, and, 3 or 4 grizzled veterens looking
for there spots back....would you want to play them?

I give Saints a 7 goal start.
-------

Nightcliff v Darwin

Darwin are 2/4 and in 3rd spot despite
having only having played 1 bad quarter
of Football.

Darwin have uncovered some great young
players in Harold Calma (backline) and Robert Roman
(centre) and with the return of Veterens Wayne
Worden and P.Reid this year - looks like the best
Buffaloe team since the last great buffaloe team...

Nightcliffs forward Tim Inkster been leading all of the
(Best player) polls. In his last game
opposition tried to flatten him.

Match of Round - Darwin by 2 goals

----------
Waratahs V Palmerston Magpies (Sunday)
The "new look" Waratahs have had 6 players
at the tribunal since the start of the season.
should be capable of pushing Palmerston for a
quarter or 2

Should be a dolly good game
Palmerston Magpies by 8-9 goals

apart. Wanderers gave the saints boys
10 yards all over the ground.
