Saints defeated Buffs by 117 points (170 - 53)

Tiwi defeated Districts by 18 points.

Nightcliff defeated Wanderers easily (no one cares) This is the TV game i understand (torture would be a more palatable option)

Palmerton defeated Waratahs (upset)

I left at half-time for the Wanderers vs Nightcliff match and Nightcliff were winning in a pretty boring match.

Shane Morrison looked pretty good for Southern Districts.

Heard a rumour that former Brisbane Lions premiership player Chris Johnson will be playing for Southern Districts.

If it is true, that would mean that there would be 4 former Brisbane players playing for Districts; Rusca, White and Morrison being the other three.

Casino Sharks lost again today in the TEAFA Reserves competition. They were defeated by 208 points. Tim Edwards kicked 14 and Jason Broughton kicked 10 (I think).

University Reserves had a 261 point turn-around when they lost to PINT (110 to 3). Last week University won by 154 points. The PINT team included St Marys coach Brett Hand and former St Marys player Karl Gunderson. Both would have probably had 40+ disposals and both will probably be in the A's next week.

Tracy Village won the A's when they won comfortably against Combined and PINT A-grade won their first match of the year defeating University by about 30 points. Matt Crichton kicked 5 for PINT. Former Wanderers player James Sing was B.O.G. for the Greenants however he will not be playing next week.

In the NTFL, Waratahs played Palmerston today at Southern Cross Oval (Palmerston). I don't know who won.

Palmerston were up by 28 points in time on 4th qtr, led all day. Unlikely to have been run down from there.

Major upset.

Palmerston winning is never an upset!!! should'v been favourites. can anyone please give the latest ladder and brief summary of season so far, cheers.
