Good list of names, but none have been more impressive than Gibbs. Riewoldt has the runs of the board, but Gibbs needs only time to run him over. Next year Gibbs>Riewoldt.

Next year the injuries will be even more telling, while Gibbs will only get stronger over the pre-season.

You're letting your bias get in the way of your rational thought, there's no way Gibbs has had a better year than Hodge and Cooney. He's had a very good second year, and in time he may well catch these players, but at the moment he's a fair way behind. Hodge and Cooney are up there with the best players in the league, Gibbs isn't there yet.

Also, Reiwoldt is only 25 and has been very good late in the season. He's got a few years yet before he is past it.

Riewoldt has easily been the best performed of these players. Something like 4-5 AA's and 4 B&F's . Hodge may be as good now but has been nowhere near as good over their careers.
