I think too many people are being swayed by McGraths speed.
Not bad for a guy with only a right leg.
I'm impressed he isn't going in circles.

Although Quigley's ratings are a bit all over the place, it's nice to hear some shortcomings of the draftees.

welcome to the dark side mateI think it is happening...
After some more research and thinking, I think I am leaning towards McGrath, who I originally leaned towards when I made this thread.
Okay hear me out. I originally looked at it as having a variety on our list with McCluggage there. I mean, we really do need more people to kick goals, so I thought "what better way of improving goal conversion than getting a classy player like McCluggage?"
But...
Imagine if we have Colyer, McGrath, Walla AND Merrett all in the one side? We'd run teams off their legs with the pressure and speed.
A complete 180 a day before the draft.
To be honest, it's been a while since I've seen McGrath's highlightswelcome to the dark side mate

Forgot how good he was, which is why I made this thread in the first place
But I will still have a massive soft spot for McCluggage wherever he goes. I'll follow his team more closely.
McCluggage is a relaxed, easy going guy. He wouldn't use us skipping him as ammo.I fear whoever we don't take will always play a blinder against us
I just feel sorry for the guy we don't pick having to go to Brisbane.
Obviously Shaw would have had nothing but great things to say about McGrath to dodoro, but I have no doubts that he would not have pushed for us picking McGrath over McCluggage as he's claimed numerous times on Twitter that he doesn't follow the draft close enough to choose between Clug and Andy when asked who he thinks we should take at pick 1Has anyone considered the link between Andrew Mcgrath and Robert Shaw? Shaw coached McGrath at Brighton Grammar. Something to think about.
McGrath will wear McCluggage like a glove. Like a pitbull all over a poodle.I fear whoever we don't take will always play a blinder against us
He's been pretty spot on with most things. Approx 1.5 months before Jobe recommitted to the club, he called it out as a play by play, that he would commit to his contract and go back overseas. Was also spot on about Laverde recommitting too.
Height makes no difference.McGrath for me. Kid's running power, 2nd/3rd efforts, skill & awareness reminds me of a young Cousins. Plays above his height too!!
If he grows a few more inches...another value add!!
His first opponent might be Rioli. Good exercise first off!McGrath will wear McCluggage like a glove. Like a pitbull all over a poodle.
