So tigers, who do you think will be rewarded with a lower number next season and what rumoured trades, drafts and free agents do you think would look good in a certain number?
Who do you think will move on opening a number?
Will we see the cursed #22 finally broken for a young gun?

A bit of fun and speculation until official announcements are made, at which point I will edit the OP accordingly as a factual reference.

Equus, Heisenberg_, Grockadoc could we have this sticked for a reference to the members?

And please, keep this one nice.
Number 50 was Relton Roberts and it should be retired for life.

Also I hope I'm not the only one who really likes the "earn a lower number" system...

I definitely like the deserving a lower number system. I'll have a think, but Jayden Short might deserve a number in the 20s.
I could see him in #11 if Batchelor goes.

True, but if Batchelor does leave, Menadue just looks like a number 11 sort of guy to me.
Menadue should be #2 so when he gets the ball we can collectively yell "Menatwoooooooo!"

But he would also suit the 6 should Grigg leave, or 20 if Maric pulls the pin.

I like the idea of 2, but Grimes has that pretty well covered. To me a number 2 and 11 should be lean and underrated high quality players. Whereas 20 should be a big guy.

1 should be a big guy, Vlas needs a growth spurt.

I was actually surprised Vlas took the #1, never took me as that sort of number.

I was shocked Vlas' changed number, I thought 31 suited him perfectly.

Number 1 I'm too used to seeing on Newman to imagine it on a big guy (at least at Richmond), Rance would suit 1, but I would keep him at 18.

I'd love Jack in #1, I've never thought #8 suited him really.
