Numbers for 2007?

🥰 Love BigFooty? Join now for free.

There are a number of them to wash out. Apart from Reynolds and Salmon there has hardly been a huge number of household names wear it. The names O'Conner, Day, Redenbach and Gross hardly roll of the tounge in discusions of Bomber greats from the last 40 years.

Don Gross only wore the number 3 in one game (when the VFL made clubs change their numbers because the Sun printed them). He wore #15 every other game.

The other 3 plus Henno - hmmmm!

Don't think you'll have too many problems learning the new blokes.

Michael, Jetta, Davey and Gumby in particular, all stand out.

It surprises me that the AFL havent introduced player's surnames on the back of their jerseys. I think it looks great, and makes the player that much more marketable...especially the more obscure ones who might find themselves as a supporter's favourite. I know if I were a player, Id love to see my name on a supporter's top.

If they can fit Sri Lankan names on players in limited overs, ours should be a breeze. For me, it would be a toss up between Watson and Monfries. Who would you have?

I'd get on the Jetta bandwagon early.

Although I'm not really one for wearing an Essendon jumper to the footy.

Just received my membership in the mail. Smartly packaged too.

I've had the no6 getting flat as a tack in a giant atlas ready to iron on to my new Essendon jumper that I got in Feb,but I still need to lose 5kgs to fit into the F-cker!

I think the sponsers would get prefrence for jumper space over the players name.

The AFL LOVE the letter 's' with a line through it....... $$$$$$$$$$$$$

There must be less space on a footy jumper then a soccer jumper because everytime I have seen a players name on a footy jumper it has looked cramped. Maybe the numbers are higher on a footy jumper or something

Would D_ck get his name on his jumper or would it have to be filtered??

And I can already see the race to get the photo when particulars players tackle or line up on each other... ie Cox, D*ck, Swollow, Chick etc etc...

...sorry for degenerating the thread to footy show level...
