I’d be giving 17 to Kelm. It’s a cursed number for Freo, so it needs to go to the player least likely to make it! 200 games total played in #17 in 27 years, and 69 of them by Crozier + 30 by Tarrant & Ballas who both vacated it at the earliest possible opportunity. I think we should scratch it from Freo existence.

In the past, the players we have traded in have been given preference if the lower numbers, that’s why we ended up with Conca/Acres/Aish with low numbers. So my guess would be:
5- Brodie
6- Clark
17 - Amiss
24- Erasmus
32- Johnson
38- Worner
40- Kelm

Unless any players on the existing list want to swap down to some numbers.

Not a fan of players changing their numbers simply because I spent the entire first half of our pre-season game against wce this year wondering why in the **** sturt was playing in defence before realising that he moved to 1 and Chapman had taken over the 27
