Thankfully there have been no fatalities from the latest round of NY bombings. Lucky for the perpetrator, as they'd face the death penalty when convicted.

In even better news in miraculous scenes, a suspect has been apprehended alive after a shootout with police.

New York bomb suspect Ahmad Khan Rahami captured by police after shootout
New York: Ahmad Khan Rahami, the suspect wanted by police in relation to the bomb blast in the New York neighbourhood of Chelsea on Saturday night and an earlier explosion in New Jersey, has been captured following a swift manhunt and shootout with police.

Rahami was named as a suspect early on Monday morning in the United States, less than 36 hours after the explosion, triggering a massive manhunt across at least two states. The FBI released a poster for him and warned that he should be considered "armed and dangerous", while millions of residents across New York woke up to text messages on their phones from the New York Police Department warning them to look out for him.

The suspect currently apprehended by law enforcement officials did not appear on any terrorism watchlist although was known to police on other unrelated charges.

this all seems so strange, two pressure cooker bombs in NY, 3 pipe bombs in NJ. Detonation within an hour of each other.
usually bomb makers use the same device over an over.

Plus a pressure cooker bomb whilst similar in effect, is a much much simpler device then a traditional pipe bomb. the pressure caps on a pipe bomb alone need be not only carefully threaded but the ignition cord needs to firmly put in place. additionally the material and thickness need to accessed to ensure it reaches desired pressure before failing, too thin and it will fail before pressure is reached, too thick and it may not actually "explode" as gases will always escape from the ignition cord meaning out gassing may occur before vessel failure.

with a pressure cooker bomb all you generally need to do is to remove or disable the release mechanism on the pressure cooker itself and re-enforce the lid so that it maintains pressure until the vessel reaches catastrophic failure. its more hit an miss but it is a ton simpler.

i can't help but wonder if there was more people involved.

Do you smell a conspiracy Bloods?

i'm merely curious, just because this bloke placed the bombs doesn't mean he's the one who made them.
Generally speaking when you look at bombing campaigns in Northern Ireland, Thailand and Iraq when a bunch of different bomb types show up at once, those carrying out the bombings are not the ones who produce them. instead you more often then not find a dedicated bomb maker who either knows what their doing or thinks they do. experimenting with different bomb types.

Instructions on how to make a pressure cooker bomb can be found on the internet and made at home (apparently, have not googled to test veracity). The fact they didn't do s**t indicates he didn't have much of an idea. Certainly don't get the idea he's working with someone more sophisticated.

the failure of the bombs doesn't tell us the skill level of the bomber, the types of bombs however do. a pipe bomb like those found in new jersey are a much more sophisticated device then a pressure cooker.

the majority of planted bombs fail, the majority of EOD teams job is to safely remove devices that haven't detonated correctly. Many of these are made by professional manufactures let alone idiots making things in their back shed.

the pressure cooker bombs had a 50% success rate, which is pretty damn high, Pressure cookers fail under normal conditions, recalls and public awareness campaigns about the dangers of pressure cookers occur on a semi regular basis, especially in the US. especially cheap knock off ones that any sane person would buy to maker a bomb out of, let alone when they are converted into a bomb. most pressure cooker bombs fail because pressure cookers are mass produced products there's simply no way to know if the vessel will fail before lethal overpressure is reached.

Its the presence of the Pipe bombs which are the Issue they require quite a lot of skill, its much easier to make an ANFO bomb then it is a pipe bomb.

Poor fellow suffering mental illness bought on by racism and an underprivileged upbringing.

Attempted to sue police in 2011 for persecuting him because he's a Muslim.

Trump's got it half right - build a wall around the "caliphate" and ship over anyone who wants to go. But nobody gets out. They can turn the clock back a thousand years, kill each other, whatever.

It wasn't a bomb (and how dare Trump say so)
It was a bomb but not terrorism
It was terrorism but not international terrorism
It was international terrorism but not linked to Islam.
When you're president you can't for shooting off before the facts are known. You need to bring calm to the nation.

This guy wasn't some dangerous international terrorist. He was a loser who was upset at life.

The Washington Post editorial board weighs in. These guys have never been Hillary fans https://www.washingtonpost.com/opin...-card-c:homepage/story&utm_term=.3e7b5fd1f15d

The facts? Pretty obvious it was a bomb.

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-...ired-clintons-reference-nyc-explosion-bombing

With the mainstream media choosing to lambast Donald Trump's reference to the explosion in NYC as a "bombing," CNN - for some reason - decided to edit out the opening sentence of Hillary Clinton's statement to the press. Barely able to keep her eyes open, Clinton also called the attacks in New York and New Jersey "bombings," according to ABC transcripts but CNN chose to omit that sentence...

This guy wasn't some dangerous international terrorist.

Right so nothing dangerous about that sort of device?

The media and authorities are just a laughing stock now with their whole "its not terrorism" shtick.

Clear false flag by the CIA so the NWO can take our pressure cookers away! Wake up sheeple!

i must admit i came in here expecting that kind of rubbish. i see Lebbo dancing in that direction, but pretty weakly by his impressive standards. i guess he's waiting to be fed the 'correct' narrative?
