He plays such a thankless role with constant sprints simply to occupy space and set up our defence and attack, absolute gem of a player. Will only continue to get better and more involved
Those that keep talking of him being on the fringe of this team ought to give themselves a slap.

Shark like Blics is another player that is looked down upon a little due to not being truly elite in one position but has the ability to do multiple roles such as defender, wing, middle and can even go forward all at a very good level.
Great news. Should take him past 150 games, a terrific achievement for the most underrated player in the team.

Not every important player on a list is a superstar. You gotta have players that take the 450 a year deals … do the thankless tasks and are players 15-23 picked.

I think that Mark O'Connor is underrated by many Cats fans.
Nothing flashy about him, but he gets the job done.

Career-best season for O'Connor. I did not expect him to be able to slot back into midfield to nullify one of the competition's best midfielders, after having a great season at half back. He found plenty of the footy himself too. It's almost like he's found another level in honour of his Irish big brother's retirement.
