Happens too often, sticky fingers in the coin draw. NA probably had no muscle behind the scenes. I suspected someone out at my old O&K club was thieving. I invited him back to my place for a celebratory drink after a home game win, took him in to the garage and locked both doors. Cracked a can and said you’ve got 30 seconds to confess or break all your fingers. He broke down, I gave him 24 hours to return the money and leave town, sure enough there was an envelope under my door on the Sunday Morning. Last I heard he’d moved up North.

A little bit of my brain has just leaked out my arseh*le after I read that tripe… and I suspect I’m not on my lonesome. It’s nice to see that you’ve enrolled for creative writing at the nursing home ;)

I think you will find that they are and that is the reason the club has asked the border mail not to run any news surrounding it.

From what I have heard the rumours of it being 80k-100k are false, not that it makes it any better but I believe it to be between 20k-30k.

Very low act and has rocked the current board who seemed to be doing a fantastic job until now.

In an alleged situation like this one then the board have failed in their duties, they’ve failed the club, the volunteers, the supporters and there’s absolutely no excuse.

They’ve also failed the person alleged to have relieved them of a substantial amount of money.

Don’t take the job if you can’t do it!

Chandler and Lane are the names being thrown around. I think Corowa and cresswll will find it hard to recruit , this is the 3rd club he’s coached in the ovens and Murray now so he’s probably exhausted most of his contacts and unless there’s some aspiring cereal box packers or pig pushers there’s not exactly much to offer potential recruits from a working perspective

I reckon Schneider could be the best coach outside of the afl. There club looks well setup from the outside, youve got Peter Dean coaching the thirds, the club looks far stronger than albury as they are building from within, rather than a chequebook

yes but its all involved ,, not just the senior coach ,,,Lavy have quietly been building the club on ground in all grades which is the answer to being a gun club achieving the top results.
