This is brilliant and slightly terrifying. Are you Kevin Rudd?

I doubt Scott would subject himself to all that and actually I wouldn't blame him. He's had the job 10 years, we know what he can and can't do. If we set up such a review with the team on the bottom there's only one way it would end for the coach. If I were him I'd just walk away. Mission accomplished. The review would still be needed for other areas of the club.

Who wrote this? I doubt Brad is certain to find another senior coaching job in the AFL. Where? When? Based on what?

he is on the money though, i also was told this few days ago that "Brad would walk into any afl job"... it's not about what you know its who you know

Which in and of itself is concerning.

We scak him and there's another white collar that'll hate us in there.

Best case for us is he buggers off to another team as a senior assistant.

Then Brad needs pressure from outside the club to walk.
All ex players in the media should be on he’s back.

Then reverted and said you can’t sack Scott

He did put Joyce in the sights though
I didn't hear him say you can't sack Scott. Did he say why not?

His points were that we play a rubbish uncontested brand of football. The guys designed to be the receivers (Hall, Polec) can't hit the side of a barn. He pointed out Boomer was moved on for playing the style the whole team is playing. Made the obvious point we're easy to play against and was puzzled how we let Essendon play to their strength.

He had say North and Scott was going to lead to an unhappy marriage. Also pointed out Joyce has been their 12 years.

Last thing he had to say, was you just can’t sack brad, but we need to see a response and it needs to be something pretty bloody good and urgently

It is hard to tell from the outside who is doing well in terms of management and who is not. Ultimate judgement is made by success both on and off field. Seem to be doing OK off field but on field an unmitigated disaster. Love to know the KPIs set by the board for Brad. 10 years of on field waste has to come to a head. Can't sack a heap of players and the board will not all roll over. Then Brad has to go. We need a fresh look at our list, our game plan and player development - all three right now are massive failures. We are not going to change the board - they have protected themselves so well that we cannot even nominate unless they say it is ok. Leadership positions off field are hard to impact. I suspect we may see some changes in mid level coaching as a peace offering.

In: Rhyce Shaw (Assistant Coach), Alex Moore (Head of High Performance), Glenn Luff (Head of Analysis), Aaron Greaves (Head of Player Development), Brendan Whitecross (player development)
Out: Josh Drummond (GCS Assistant), Ben Dyer (likely East Fremantle)

New head of player development and new head of high performance this year. We've changed things up significantly heading into this season.

They won't sack him. He will be backed.
Yes. The Board will back him because those Twits are the imbeciles who extended his contract in the first place. But sadly for these Twits there comes a Tipping Point. Continue to Lose and even the Board won't be able to defend the indefensible. :stern look

Unfortunately the media over the years have a view of our list just being shit and that Brad Scott has done well to get the most out of it. This view is still upheld by some in the media even today, so Brad Scott will feel little pressure externally, and the board will continue to back him in.

We have hit rock bottom.

See the following. The narrative has written itself to bunker down.

The board will not remove this coach.
