It's the hunger we lack as an organisation.

The hunger to thrive.

The hunger to not compete with the best, but be the best.

We appear satisfied.

It's not enough.

From the top down, we need a rocket.

Now with 18 teams we have to be ruthless if we are going to be in the running for a premiership. There just aren't enough good players to go around.
Our aim seems to be diluted by competing ideas

Is anyone able to please tell me who our ‘Executive Team’ actually is?
Have tried the below link a few times in recent weeks and takes me to a blank screen.
Would be nice to know who is actually steering this ship.

LOL, they're hiding.

They have streeted us.

Indeed, their work in pioneering women's footy has set them nicely.

Here I was thinking it was the multi million dollar land acquisition that Gordon & Co. managed to pull off. Our arsehats can't organise a membership department.

Your opinion on this subject is compromised due to your own personal political and relationship interests. I disregard it accordingly.

“A redeveloped Whitten Oval for AFLW matches, with increased capacity and a first-class match day experience, certainly makes that a real opportunity.”

The redevelopment plan includes demolition and rebuilding of the Whitten Stand, an indoor training field, convention centre, football department, increased seating and broadcast-quality light towers at a cost of about $45 million.

The Dogs want a revamped Whitten Oval to become a central hub for the game’s growing women’s competition.

The real reason the Bulldogs are doing well is they won a premiership.

On that we can both agree. Win a flag.

And Brad and the current admin aren't getting us there.

Some of these names are really starting to annoy me. People & Culture portfolio, very corporate.

Oh FFS, its a decent size organisation, they have a HR department, that's what HR departments are called these days.

So now you're on board with the coach today?

I'm not buying any of the other drivel. Sell it to someone else.

LOL, autocorrect.

I'm not trying to sell you anything, I'm just pointing out the facts with the Dogs - they are more bought into AFLW than us mate.

Really?

Then I can only deduce that a large private land acquisition is imminent.

Nice to see your typical respect for the positions of other posters, as well as the continued messianic belief in the rightness of your own particular opinion. Because that's all it is, despite your projected air of certainty.
It would be nice if you'd take your drivel to your own site as threatened, so we could discuss things on this board without your spite.

P*** off with your tired cliches. I'm only interested in reading from people exhibiting independent thought processes.

so we could discuss things on this board without your spite.

The consistent character trait of "identity" delusionals. The blinkered notion that they speak for everyone.

You mean the one where the left-wing Andrews Government GAVE them the land so the can PLAY WOMEN'S FOOTY there -and maybe at some distant point in the future some senior games (which will never happen)?

The Western Bulldogs Football Club welcomes the Andrews’ Government’s intent to assign the land at the southern (Geelong Road) end of the VU Whitten Oval, the existing Cross Street and adjoining land, to the Club for VU Whitten Oval football and for community development purposes.

We express our gratitude to Dan Andrews and his team for their co-operation and work with us over many months on this important work for the Club and Melbourne’s west.

...

While its principal football use will be for women’s and VFL games, we do anticipate that its expanded capacity and quality will make the occasional fixturing of a heritage game in the men’s AFL premiership season an option. By the end of the 2018 season, we hope to be in a position to provide our members with visual and explanatory graphics of the principal re-design options for the precinct.

It is literally, exactly, what we've been doing with Arden Street the last few years.

The key difference isn't some brilliance by their admin, it is that Treasurer Tim Pallas is a mad Dog and knows how to play local politics.

You're arguing we should do what they've done when what they've done is copy us but they have one of their own handing out the cash.
