Can someone please explain to me why Channel 10 are bothering to bring the OC to TV Screens.. it was on Channel 9 for 3 or so weeks then got cut because it failed to attract any attention.. How exactly do Channel 10 plan to make it successful?

Some shows actually do well once they change networks.Ch10 dumped Cheers and ch 9 made it a huge success in Australia.
Ch9 dumped Seinfeld and look how successful ch10 made it here.

Wouldn't get one iota of the ratings it got in its first season.

Anyone know how it did in the US?
It's huge over there. The big new show.

It's actually a quality show. It's being sterotyped as the next Dawson's Creek or 90210, but it's actually got some substance and is entertaining.

It should work out for channel 10 because the show and actors are hugely popular with all the teeny boppers now, everyone knows who they are. When channel 9 aired it, it was only just starting to find it's feet in the US.

Ratings dont matter when you get the money pouring in like that show has.

What? And you're saying Dawson's or 90210 didn't? :p

Anyone know if 10 are showing the first 3 episodes again? Or is that pretty obvious?

"Loved the show when it was on, but then again as Channel 10 advertises, I was a Dawson's Creek, Bevely Hills 90210, and Melrose Place fan. :)"

Show will be shown from the beginning. Channel 10 have a knack for showing these serial dramas, and do manage to rake in the ratings for them. It simply didnt belong onChannel 9, yet it is still better than that Gilmore Girls show. OC, is a runaway success in the States, with the stars of the show, making their names in Hollywood. Be prepared for OC mania to hit Australia.

Aww Dawsons...:( How we miss it...I had a pencil case with them on it.
