Black as a dogs' guts.

Head like a robbers dog

Going for a snakes or snakes hiss

Stunned mullet

POETS day (Piss off early tomorrow's Saturday)

All froth & no beer

Better than a poke in the eye with a burn't stick

Eat the crutch out of a low flying duck

Purple headed junket pumper

She goes off like a frog in a sock

Thank ya mother for the rabbits

Lower than a pregnant snake with a festered arse

Show us ya Map of Tassie (no longer relevant on most occasions :( )

She can talk with a mouth full of marbles under wet cement

Get up at sparrows fart

So hopeless he couldn't find an assehole at a gay bar

All tip, no iceberg

Flat out like a lizard drinking - going as hard as you can.
Wouldn't blow out a candle - super fit and un - puffed from hard excercise.
Busy as a dog surrounded by trees - self explanatory really and one of my faves.
Took off like a Bondi Tram - Older Sydney natives may remember tales of these - reputedly always late lol

Come in spinner - calling the next two up player into the 'ring'.

Heart as big as Phar Lap - for non or newly arrived Australians Phar Lap was Australias greatest racehorse
and after his death was found to have a bigger heart than normal horses.

Can't take a trick - trick referring to Euchre I belive originally and meaning consistantly unlucky
