He is a terrible commentator fullstop - his chuckles are unprofessional and often make me think that he is pondering his next bay13 thread

He was commentating the Brisbane v Adelaide game the other week up at the GABBA and it was only then that I realised I hadn't heard him commentate outside of Adelaide Oval before.. I really hope he doesn't expand his game calling

He was blatantly trying all game to implicate Port in something, such was his desperation.
I recal them talking about a trainer being in thec50 meter protected zone and that a free should have been given to the WC player..they went on about it for awhile before realising it was possibly a WC trainer lol.

The last 2 rounds look like really tough matches for Port.The club is totally luckless ATM.If the players need any inspiration to get up for these matches.Just think Roo.

I listened to the TV commentators for the first couple of minutes picked Roo and got MMM up and running. **** Rooshitoo and his franchise!!

Just as a side note I sent 7 a long winded FB inbox/rant about Derwayne's commentry of a Port game and got back something along the lines of "Thank you for your feedback" I came to conclusion pretty quickly that they just dont GAF. Bruce, Duck and Lingy wouldnt still be doing Friday nights if they did!

Not sure about Foxtel but 7 do. I worked at c7 a few years ago and they do take reasonable complaints seriously. I was surprised, once the big Boss said if one person bothers complaining then a 1000 other are pissed too but didn't bother writing an official complaint. They are very sensitive about their revenue streams, so it's worth mentioning that you have also lodged official complaints with their major sponsors (companies running ads during the game).
I already complained. Told em I turned the sound off and didn't watch the news or any of the ads because of roo. Told em I missed so much of the game because roo wanted a video review of every free kick to port. Also deeply offended by the obvious joy he took in our players being seriously injured. Also said I will actively avoid any companies advertising during the game and lodge complaint letters with them also and stop watching channel 7 news. And encourage friends/ family to do likewise if roo ever commentates a port game again.
If a very small number of people do likewise the shit will hit the fan and he will be dragged into the bosses office for one of those meetings. People often think consumers have no power but they do. This is how small special interest groups behave to ensure they have a voice louder than they deserve.

And if you have any sort of business that has any sort of dealings with 7 or any of their sponsors, then you will review those commercial arrangements. Eg my company pays for advertising at 7 or one of its affiliates, or my pub buys beer from one of your sponsors .... and we don't want any association with our product and roo's disgusting schadenfreude ... it will deeply offend many of our customers

I don't have a TV at home so if I don't go to a pub to watch a game I'll find online streams
One of the most consistent streams one I've found is an Eastern European stream called ViaSat Sport

Just one dude commentating in God knows what language - Can't understand a word he says unless he pronounces a player's name with an over-dramatic 'ethnic' twist - Best part is that because he is by himself he often goes 20 to 30 secs without saying anything and you just get the crowd noise

It's better than Ricciuto and every other locally based commentator

Yes his voice going up several octaves with palpable glee with our 3 injuries was the last straw for me. He was actually salivating. A low life of the highest order. Absolutely.

It's been discussed previously but with digital TV there should be an option to have just crowd noise without any commentary. It's not as if the commentary actually adds anything.

It was very poor form and immature. He is suppose to be a leader. Unfortunately people will copycat his behavior. As someone picked as AA captain , he knows this.

It was a 50M penalty they were suggesting as WC had the ball just outside the 60m zone. Yep they dribbled for a while then realized it could have been a WC runner-trainer, then made the excuse they all looked the same as the saving grace
