Rising star midfielder Reece Conca has signed a new three-year deal with Richmond, which will see him remain a Tiger at least until the end of 2016.
...
“It was never in doubt that I would re-sign with Richmond. It was just a matter of sorting through the details with the Club and my manager,” Conca said.
“I’m very grateful for the opportunity the Club has given me over the last three seasons and I’m excited about what the future holds.”

Leppitsch will not be at the club in 2014
http://www.lions.com.au/news/2013-09-24/leppitsch-lands-at-lions
The Brisbane Lions are pleased to announce the appointment of Justin Leppitsch as Senior Coach.

Leppitsch, who played 227 games for the Bears and Lions across 14 seasons, will return to the Club where he made his name as a triple-premiership winning defender, having spent the previous seven years as an assistant coach.

Leppitsch, 37 (he turns 38 on October 1), beat a number of high-calibre candidates for the position and has agreed to a three-year deal, effective immediately.

Leppitsch played a significant role in Richmond’s return to the finals as an assistant coach to Damien Hardwick for the past four years.

Martin re-signs for 2 years
http://www.richmondfc.com.au/news/2013-09-30/martin-sticks-with-the-tigers-
Richmond midfielder Dustin Martin has agreed to a new contract with Richmond.

Martin has committed to a further two seasons at the Club, ensuring he will remain a Tiger until at least the end of 2015.

“We have always considered Dustin a required player at Richmond, and we are pleased he has re-committed to the Club,” said Richmond’s General Manager of Football, Dan Richardson.

“We have been encouraged by the way Dustin has developed as a footballer, and a person, in his time at Richmond.

“We now look forward to Dustin having another strong pre-season and continuing his improvement in 2014 and beyond.”

Peggy O'Neal becomes Richmond's new President.
http://www.richmondfc.com.au/news/2013-10-03/peggy-oneal-the-new-richmond-president
Richmond will be the first club in AFL /VFL history to have a female president after Peggy O’Neal was voted into the role at a board meeting this morning.

O’Neal has spent the past eight years on the Richmond board. She takes over from Gary March, who officially stood down as president at the Jack Dyer Medal last Monday night.

O’Neal, who was born in Virginia in the United States, has spent the past 24 years in Australia. She currently chairs the Club’s risk and compliance committee, is a member of the governance committee, and also chairs the Tigers in Community Foundation.

“It is a privilege to lead such a great football club and I look forward to working with the board and management to build on the momentum we have established in recent seasons,” O’Neal said.

Andrew McQualter becomes new Development Coach
http://www.richmondfc.com.au/news/2013-10-04/tigers-appoint-development-coach
Richmond has bolstered its coaching department and VFL program in 2014 with the appointment of former St Kilda and Gold Coast midfielder Andrew McQualter.

The 27-year-old, who played in three Grand Finals for the Saints (including the 2010 GF replay against Collingwood) in an 89-game career with them, will take on a development coaching role at Tigerland, working under Senior Development Coach, Mark Williams.

Shaun Hampson traded for pick 28
http://www.richmondfc.com.au/news/2013-10-07/hampson-a-tiger
Richmond has secured the services of Carlton ruckman Shaun Hampson on the first day of the AFL’s 2013 trade period.

The Tigers picked up Hampson in exchange for a second-round pick in the upcoming National Draft.

Hampson, 25, is 201cm and 104kg, and has played 63 games and kicked 32 goals in seven seasons with the Blues, after being selected at pick 17 overall in the 2006 National Draft.

Max Bailey joins Richmond as a Development Coach
http://www.richmondfc.com.au/news/2013-10-10/bailey-joins-tigers-as-development-coach
Richmond has further boosted its football development department, securing the services of recently-retired Hawthorn premiership ruckman Max Bailey.

The Tigers have appointed Bailey as a development coach, just five days after he announced his retirement, following an eight-year career with the Hawks, where he bravely fought back from three knee reconstructions and was able to go out as a premiership player.
