Morrish is a great get for CaseyThe ripple effect of no Dolphins sees a plethora of Stingrays graduate to Casey (Bailey Morrish), Collingwood (Matt La Fontaine) and Sandy (Dan Alsop) amongst others
Morrish would play back, he reminds me of Hibberd and I expect him not to miss a 2nd year in a row in the draft next yearThe strength of their midfield plus whoever they get from Melbourne will probably see him either only play as 23rd man or in the reserves honestly.
Happy that Tom Cleary will be playing for Coburg next year. We (Coburg talk here) need another tall defender.
I may be wrong, but will Fletch junior be eligible to play as 23rd man for us next year? Wouldn't mind seeing him run around in 31 next year. We're building a nice VFL list here.
I don't think he will get back to AFL as a defender he needs his confidence back and recapture his intensity he showed as a forward and mid for Eastern. I'm sure he will still play well as a defender in the VFL but he has a lot more tricks than his AFL career has shownTheir midfield is putrid so I wouldn't be surprised to see him play there, but he's a very effective state league defender, so...
Honestly, I'm treating him as scum because he's now tainted by my two club's biggest rivals, Preston (for Coburg) and Carlton (for Essendon). I couldn't care less where he plays as long as he does so badly.I don't think he will get back to AFL as a defender he needs his confidence back and recapture his intensity he showed as a forward and mid for Eastern. Haha fair enough yeah I was dissapointed to see he went there but I still wish him the best as long as he plays badly against usHonestly, I'm treating him as scum because he's now tainted by my two club's biggest rivals, Preston (for Coburg) and Carlton (for Essendon). Yeah Morrish should have gotten picked, he is a great defender and I expect him to play for Vic Country in the championships which should give him even more exposure next year.Bailer Morriah will play a lot of the year at Dandenong as an overager.
Dandy people genuinely gobsmacked he was overlooked
