The argument has been that the bombers are a powerhouse and on-field doesn't matter. So saying the Demons aren't a powerhouse because we finish last is digging a hole. On-field results are uncontrollable. In every other controllable aspect there is no reason to say we are not a powerhouse. Even though people hate Collingwood, when they finish close to the bottom they are still a powerhouse.
Yer how have Collingwood become a powerhouse Essendon, Carlton and Collingwood have all won over 10 premiership's Okey, then you have Freo, Doggies and Saints who have won 2 between them and there supporter basis and performance's aren't as good as the bigger 3 PERFORMANCE WISE.

What are you talking about the whole argument is about perfomance's Bonce thinks the powerhouse's should be making finals, how do you make finals?? By performing well not posting.

They have won a premiership you don't win that by posting.

You cannot say performance has nothing to do with it regardless if it is controllable or not people would go to the good teams before they go to the shit teams.

Read the thread. Some a Colingwood, Essendon and Carlton wn premierships because they were powerhouses. Salary caps and drafts didn't always exist you know. Anyway, AFL clubs are a bad example seeing as they can control their on-field performance whereas we cannot.

Please read the thread. You were saying those clubs who are powerhouses have all won premierships and such, but I said that they won a lot of those premeirships because they were powerhouses, and there were no salary caps or drafts. Don't worry about it.

 Yer just stop arguing the Powerhouse part and let's concentrate on what the thread is supposed to be about.

lol timmy is getting confused:D In saying we are a powerhouse I have been considering our ability to post, the quality of our posters, the respect of our posters and our on field performances as a club (we have won 2 of the more recent premiership). I think we tick all the boxes.

The next closest club in ticking these would be the Hawks although they're starting to die off a bit.

Bombers left Wondering...

In a week that has seen many rumours come out in the open, many that are widely believed to be true, and others that are considered complete BS, here emerges a new rumour, and one that is quite possible of happening too, according to Baghdad Bombers Star, EFL Boy.

The year that many believed the Baghdad Bombers would be seriously pushing for Back-to-Back Premiership titles has been nothing short of disappointing. A change of captaincy and some old names fading away has troubled the Bombers and thus they have struggled to find any sort of consistancy throughout the year.

It is widely known that the Baghdad Bombers are going on a big recruiting drive during the off-season because of their dismal performances in Season 2009. Several names have came to the attention of the public, but the newest and arguably biggest is believed to be coming from the West.

When asked about this after an off-season meeting between the leadership group, EFL Boy had this to say: "Many names have been brought up in talks between us, and I can tell you that we have enquired about many players. We have been very impressed with this player this season, and particulary last season, when he made a name for himself.

The SFA Advertiser understands that this player has shown interest in making the move to the Abdu Prison for Season 2009/2010 and has a very good relationship with several Baghdad players.

In other news, Cormick heading to the Furies looks very likely now, after he has not commented on this issue in recent days, and his manager has came out and said that they have received a very good offer from a Top 5 club.

Well this Free Agency period is going to be one to go down in the History of The SFA with all these names and speculation going about. Going to be an off season for activity on the SFA :D.

Which is South East of Baghdad yeah?:D

You gave it away just a little bit. No guess work required there.

I have so commented on it, in an article I stated that it was unlikely, as loyalty is a trait I value. That is still the case; highly unlikely. Although not completely written off, depends on one or two things. Having said that, the Furies haven't even offered me a spot since last year. It's a tad presumptuous to think I'm on their radar again, after the year I've had.

That is what I was certainly thinking. Interesting. That would be a blow for the wonders who are starting to go down hill.
Oh no. You've picked the Wonders.

Go away, I don't want to be the object of your affection. Go pick on another team.

Demons "Not happy" at tim_saints "Blow."
Explosive Mount Buller Demons forward okeydoke7 has sensationally conceded at a post-season gathering today that the Demons had been "dealt a huge blow" by the actions of tim_saints. Okey, at a press conference promoting the signing of a 220cm project player, said that he belives tim_saints "lead the demons on, and lead me on. We are dissapointed. We are not happy." Okey said he had not spoken formally about it to his teammates, and his opinion was personal, but that his teammates would reflect his thinking.

"The fact is, tim_saints was heading to the demons all year long. He lead us to believe it was 100% assured. And then on the eve of finals, he tells us he is withdrawing for a new offer. Suddenly he has gone from a Demon lover to a hater in a matter of days. The multiple faces of tim_saints. We are not happy with this at all. And it is a blow." tim_saints, in the middle of a finals series with the Southern Dragons, has not drawn criticism from teammates for constant talks of the future with other clubs. Possibly the competitions most active player, it is believed the Dragons are absolutely no chance of keeping their star, rather, they will lose him to the powerhouse that is the bombers.

The Mount Buller Demons are believed to be in talks with several seasoned players, but will focus on youth during the off-season.
