Yeah, that's terrible. Lots of hit-and-runs seem to happen over here. It's got to the point where if there is an accident the news report will say "the driver stayed at the scene" like it's a big surprise.

Just on lawyers, I have a very good one at the moment representing me for my accident. He's really good but geez they can be smooth talkers. They are like very good car salesmen with a better education and a nicer suit.
That's sad. Yeah, we get a few H&Rs, too. Usually drunk or drugged up males. :(

Lol- Hasn't thought of lawyers just being car salesmen with a degree before but the ones that I know are smooth- lovely people, though. Just something that I would not like to be.

My boss asked me at about 4:00pm last night if I wanted to have today off on A/L as we're always a tad quiet this time of the year. I had expressed interest previously in having a day off if we got too quiet. So I agreed, but didn't tell me wife. I "forgot" to set my alarm this morning, and at 7:10 she was shaking my shoulder vigorously and yelling at me to get up because I was so late for work. I rolled over and said "I can't be fcuked going to work today" and told her to sleep in and that I'd take the kids to school/kinder. She's still sleeping at 9:46am ACST. When should I "fess up" and admit that I'm not really as much of a rebel as James Dean?

I'm sure that if he'd lived long enough to have had kids, James Dean would have turned into a Rebel With a Cause, and that cause would have been to let his wife sleep while he took the kids to school/kinder!;)

Watching the TV show promos during the Footy and Test Match ad breaks is a very efficient way of staying fully abreast of the latest things in bogan culture.
A ship in the harbour.....

Demand a commander....

That's all I've taken away from the last two test matches :straining:
