Was that you?? I thought it was Kitty and kept forgetting to say thanks!

Did you tell me you were sending it?? I just found it in my inbox one day and wondered if forgotten that someone mentioned it or if it was just out of the blue...

thanks allrighty! ;) I don't know where it has been put- I will have to search for it- I did start it but can't remember if I finished it.

No the book I sent you at post #35657. About Ants and how they really get in fridges and other places.

Haha.
Somehow I got an e-book via email but, though I was e-xcited, I didn't have the e-nergy or e-nthusiasm to read it e-mmediately... And that was several months ago. Thought it was from Kitty but, when you asked like that, I was e-mbarrassed and figured I'd made an e-rror.

No- didn't read the ant book. Thought it was a pic and some of the writing was a bit small so I'll save that juicy snack for later. :)

Is that you holding it Teriyakicat?

Not sure I'd ever be quite game enough to actually try and pick one up..
Yeah it is. I took about 10 photos of it on the ground but couldn't get it to look at the camera.
My kids all used to hold them when they were young. Even used to cuddle them against their chest like a kitten. :) We've had some very tame lizards- if you handle them a few times, they do get used to it.

I remember one of the kids giggling because the lizard's tongue was tickling her neck- the lizard does a lot of investigating with its tongue. It comes out long and narrow to "feel" things but to drink, the tongue becomes short and stubby.

Fascinating little buggers. :)
Oh- and I got bitten for the first time last year. I put a lizard under the mulberry tree to eat some fruit and it was hissing at me, so I thought I'd tempt it with a mulberry. I reached over next to it to pick up a lovely juicy piece of fruit and the next thing I knew, I had a lizard hanging off my finger!!

Oh and to pick one up, just grab it quickly behind the neck. Thumb and forefinger next to its head. They sometimes panic and wee, so keep your other hand under it, supporting it, but not near its back legs.

That's a nice photo.

The one around here sometimes hisses at us if I try to shoo him off the driveway with a stick (so he don't get car squished), think I'll leave him be :D

Do I have to read all of it, Allrighty, or just the headlines? :)
The black writing is a bit blurry.
Well I think the second headline says it all. "Telepathic, teleporting ants". I have suspected this for years, now it is confirmed as FACT.

I will sleep better tonight having confirmed this though I will remain awake all night at the same time, vigilant against ant mind and bedroom invasion.

I can teach you some tricks to close your mind to these telepathic ants, Allrighty. Just send me $500 in unmarked notes and I'll send you a CD outlining my tried and true method. I've been using it for years- guaranteed to work. I assure you, no any will invade your mind while you sleep, after you've completed my 5 simple steps prior to falling asleep.

Not only will you get my limited edition CD, I will throw in a set of KMart steak knives, absolutely free!! So act now! Don't delay!!

He will hiss at you because he's sure you're attacking him :)

I'll go through my old photos because I've got a beautiful photo somewhere of one of our lizards after it was in my garden.... BBS

Hmm I'll have to think about that offer.
