Would've played 20 tests by now if he was from NSW.
Conspiracy theory: Shane Watson was a fringe player in and out of the side.

2009 moves from playing for QLD to NSW...... Nek Minnit he's the golden goose and dropping him would be akin to shooting Bambi:oops:

The so called bias against Bushranger players goes completely out of the window when complete hacks like McGain, Hastings an Quiney get given baggygreens!

To be fair. No one mentioned vic bias at all, and to be fair Quiney earned his selection by playing very well the previous season. Bit of bad luck that he was thrust into 3 against the best attack in the world. Nonetheless he earned his baggygreen.

McGain was nothing more than experiment #756345897 in our search for a spinner post Warne. Hastings has me stumped.... Then again.... Born: Penrith, New South Wales;):p

Who invited the Freo flog and his Vic bashing ?
Settle down, Jub- I invited Kram, he's not a flog (or at least I don't think he is), and any Vic bashing he does here shouldn't be a reason to get the knives out. I'm sure he knows he's posting in the middle of a bunch of Victorians and that he's just stirring the pot.

I'm so glad that we never ended up with this kid:

It seems he hasn't learned anything since the last time.
He even looks like a typical Pies player.
TheFreshBanana - your thoughts?
Lmao

Let's just say, that he is one of our more heralded younger players on the board, and is regarded as a future leader and the replacement of Luke Ball.

He is also probably my "least favourite (as I don't hate any Collingwood player except Dale Thomas)" player.

He has atrocious disposal, and I still remember we lost at least once and maybe a few very close games because of his shocking disposal in dying minutes of the game.

I also heard he was at a summer music festival and was on ecstacy, but then again, this is second hand account and probably an exaggeration.

However, the article doesn't really detail what he was arrested for, and I won't make any assumptions until more facts are released.

Edit: HS being sensationalists. He wasn't arrested, just fined. But still, would like to know what he was actually fined for.

Thanks for your honest answer. Do you think that being a young "footy star" has made him what he is? I think some kids are good honest young men but others have been brought up to believe that they're the ant's pants and thus are full of themselves by the time they reach AFL.
I've met a fair few pricks in junior footy but, on the other side of it, there are many young kids who are absolutely lovely and have similar levels of talent as the pricks.

He was fined for "being drunk in a public place". It probably means he was raisin' a ruckus. ;)
Oh, and he's also one of the top picks in the poll that decides who we sponsor this season.

Luckily, I don't think we can afford him, as I don't really want his name as a badge.
would that be a badge of shame? ;)
