Morning all! Yawn, tough getting up at 5 everyday for the week, it's Friday and I'm stuffed
:( That's much too early for me! I get up once a week at that time and it almost kills me. Guess I should go to bed before 1 the night before- but I always forget.
It's become dark very quickly in the mornings -hard to believe that sunrise and sunset change by only one minute per day. It seems to darken near the autumn equinox very quickly and the opposite happens near the spring equinox.

Got to admit, I'm enjoying sunshine until 7:30pm at the moment. It did change quickly!

My flatmate is up at 4.30/5 to leave at 5.30 for early morning shifts.

I know this cause she wakes me up every morning starting her car. :mad:
:(
That would be really annoying. I hope she changes her shift soon!
My sister had a bloke across the road who used to start his truck up early then go inside for half an hour and leave it running to warm up. :confused:

Nar my body clock is pretty much set now. I wake up at 5.30 now even when she isn't on early shift.

Hey Shell! Give me the bullet points. How are the Cats looking? I haven't been following pre-season too closely.
Here you go CatFish -
The players are all looking very tanned, healthy + fit!
Some of our vets have shed weight + are all looking very tanned, healthy + fit!
We lost NAB1 to the Suns purely because it was so humid + hot :)p :D) - don't let anyone else tell you other wise, because it's true!
We won NAB2 against Crows purely because it was cooler, no humidity, it sprinkled rain :)p :D) - if anyone tells you other wise, they're lying!
The win + loss had nothing whatsoever to do with the facts that:
- we didn't play well in Townsville;
- we did play well in NAB2 at KP because Clark kicked 6 zillion goals, Cockatoo is our latest gun, + despite the umpires being from the Crows, we managed to kick more goals than Adelaide;
The next game is at Jihad against Carlton + that's all that's allowed in this OT thread, cause talking footy is, of course, OT :D

You're a lot more temperate than those snowy places, aren't you? I think you mentioned that ages ago.
Would it be a bit like Tasmania in climate out your way?
Yeah, much warmer than the rest of the country. Something like Launceston sounds about right.

Winter -5 to 10
Spring 15 to 25
Summer 25 to 35
Autumn 0 to 15

Yep you didn't highlight how the humidity in Geelong is the same as gold coast. Next factoid will be how close Geelong's oppressive heat is to Darwin's

:oops: :oops: :oops:

Thank goodness you added that German!!! *phew* It's probably the MOST important factor of NAB1. May I also add that the fact the Gold Coast is as humid as Geelong is vital, but the fact that we were playing in Townsville + the Suns' players were covering their heads with icy wet towels, is not? :D
