How's this form?

I had a house guest for the weekend + she brought a bottle of wine, which had about one glass left in it *yes, staggering for me not to have finished it* + I just went to pour a glass + the bottle has gone. So *now how's this for form* I sent her a text + asked her the name of the wine, because it was lovely, explained I couldn't find the bottle + she replied it's Côte du Rhone, so I'm  that's a region  what is the wine + she'd taken it home with her

Seriously, who brings a bottle of wine + then takes the bottle home with one glass remaining glass FFS? :drunk: :drunk: :drunk: <---- isn't me! :(

Oh sh!t - let me tell you my story about wanting to go to Snowtown, but ended up, with an empty petrol tank + limped into Truro, another serial killer SA town

Now mine too!!!

Why don't you see if you can be in Adelaide for the game in July? So far Shell + me - hopefully Moneypenny, Strangled Cat + barmy44 ;)

How great is it that we're already arranging BF MeetUps for 2015
This is very much worth considering Kitty :thumbsu:

If work isn't too busy I'll probably do the drive over so I can visit my parents on the way through.:)

BotsMaster - book your annual leave for the game, when you get to work tomorrow ;) or whenever you Victorians return to work after the Cup
Haha I'll see what happens. It will be my first interstate game if I go (I haven't even been to KP yet :$).

Are you really going to drive from Sydney to Adelaide Kitty?

Hey I noticed Geelong are playing Adelaide on the 5th of July??? Or something like that... anyway am pretty sure that will coincide directly with school holidays, so a trip over to Adelaide is a possibility.

So how many days do I need to "take in" Adelaide and the game?

2 nights?

:D
Hey Shell

That'd be awesome if you could make it over. If you're flying over, I assume that you'll get a hire car? That is of course if you want to take in the scenery. If not, transfers from the airport to the city are aplenty.

What is the maximum amount of time you'd be looking to spend in SA? Depending on your specific plans, I'd be more than happy to advise you on how best to spend your time over here, however long that may be.

Feel free to PM me closer to the date as it is still nine months away!

I've driven exactly one time in the Melbourne CBD in my entire life.

No ****en way I'll be hiring a car.

Thanks!!! Will do, yeah it's still miles away yet. So glad it coincided with school holidays, what are the odds.

Hmmmmm, sounds tempting dat. Wouldnt want to drive both ways tho. Yes one way seems doable.

Who did you say is over there, other than Strangled Cat , will have an epic meet up before and after the game!!!

Am excited and is more than 6 months away, lolz.
That sounds great! I've floated the idea of an SA meet-up before as there's a fair few Geelong supporters over here, but it hasn't really ever gotten off the ground. If a bunch of interstaters come over, I'm sure that the cause would be made a lot easier. I'll give a shout out to a few closer to the date if you guys are fair dinkum.

Now how can we get Teriyakicat across from WA?
You'll have to stand in the middle of Rundle Mall and shake your (full) Lolly Gobble Bliss Bomb bags really loudly, while yelling "Here, Teriyakicat!" Works every time!
Unfortunately, by the time I pack my bag, drive to Perth Airport and fly over- taking into account the 2.5 hours' time difference- I'd bet the game would be over. :(

Just to clarify, I hate driving in/to areas I dont know.
While I know Melbourne, it just scares me. :$

It's some stupid anxiety issue- but yeah will be fine catching PT, getting Kitty to drive me around. ;)
Trust me, Shell. Adelaide is a piece of cake. Very little traffic. Very straightforward routes to anywhere and everywhere. Like driving in a country town in Victoria- albeit a big country town :)
Seriously.

That's hilarious Bots!

My neighbour was (she's an angel now) a highly regarded, talented, award-winning costume designer + set designer for the theatre, ballet + opera. She had a black fluffy cat called Thuggie, who died at the age of 25. The following Christmas was approaching + I saw an advert for a Thuggie look-alike, showed her + asked if she'd like a Kitten for Christmas. She said yes, the kitten was at Bankstown - the suburb that Eddie Everywhere confused with Blacktown - GWS. A felafel at Bankstown, remember?

So my neighbour + I set out early on a Saturday morning to collect the kitten. Stopped at Bankstown Square for a cappuccino, only to be amazed that the shopping centre was completely empty. We'd heard a car backfiring + there were security guards + we pressed on, found a cafe + ordered our cappuccinos. The girl in the cafe was quite sullen + not enthusiastic to serve us, but we chatted on, the car backfired a few more times. She gave us cappuccinos + off we went. On the way back to the car park there were police everywhere, madly waving at us + we thought how friendly they were. The damn bloody bug***y car backfired again + the police were trying ever so hard to get our attention + we waved at them again. Then a Police SWAT team nearly knocked us over, I'd have been so p!**ed off if they'd spilled my cappuccino. Back to the car + that stupid car was still backfiring. We went + collected the kitten (which is another story altogether) drove home via Earlwood, stopped at the Our Lady of Lourdes grotto, bought some Lourdes water, baptised the Kitten + drove home. That evening at 6:00 + 20 seconds, my neighbour rang, screeched "Turn on the NEWS!!!!!!!! N - O - W - ! ! ! ! !"

There'd been a shoot out at Bankstown Square that morning between police + men 'of Mediterranean appearance' with the SWAT team storming the shopping centre (+ nearly spilling my cappuccino), shooting one of the men OMA dead, arresting a few!!!

So we'd gone into buy cappuccinos during the shooting - which I thought was that damn annoying car backfiring! So the news cameras are covering it + who do we see leaving Bankstown Square car park? Kitty's little VW Polo - didn't notice anything!!!
:D:D:D
You should've rung the TV station and asked if you could have a copy of the footage! ;)
