I only watched the Young Ones but never saw any/much of Rik's other work apart from a few YouTube clips. Still on my 'to do' list ... will get around to it one day, I'm sure. He's one funny guy!
I got Bottom on DVD- at JB, they sell the complete series for about $15. I also got Drop Dead Fred for $10.

Blackadder isn't my cup of tea, never got into that show. At all.

Do JB still have those at that price? Or did you get it ages ago? I might go and grab a set for my violence-loving son! I think we have Drop Dead Fred- will have to check.

I :hearts::hearts: Blackadder. There are different periods in which BA is set - I liked some more than others.

My son sent me this article from watoday earlier today:

"It was a case of life in the slow lane for the driver of a street sweeper impounded by police on Tuesday for travelling well under the speed limit on the Mitchell Freeway.
The truck was spotted by police near the Warwick Road exit at about 10.10pm, travelling south at just 48km/h, when it was pulled up."

I wouldn't mind seeing a cop on the freeway now and then- or on the backstreets...
Where are they when we need them?

I bought them right after his death. So not that long ago, would assume it's still at that price.

And it's also in the one "set", isnt a box set or anything, just a regular dvd, with multiple DVDs inside.

I've bought quite a few CDs in a set of 5 over the past year or two. They cost about $20- and you get individual CDs in little cardboard slipcases, inside a larger cardboard case, so not a fancy boxed set but the el cheapo version. My iTunes doesn't seem to mind that they're the cheap version ;)

The ones I have are Columbia and are called "Original Album Classics". There are loads of artists in the series.

Stainless steel actually, but you've given me a good idea to take the joke too far.

That's not a ring it's a hose clamp :D
Yeah, I know what it is. We use them to clip the retic into the high pressure bore line. And I sometimes nick them to use to just join retic if the plastic ones don't hold (or if I can't find a plastic one ;)).

I was just saying if you wanted to use one as a real engagement ring (cos you said it was something you would do), it had better be made of Pt. If you wanted to make it into an engagement ring, just add a big crusty diamond to the top of the screw part.

Adjusts to fit all sizes. :D A girl's dream ring.

I wasn't sure if you knew what it was but good to hear you use them often.

It is the perfect ring, fully adjustable, looks good and really cheap as you can get them from Bunnings for about $1 :D

As for making it platinum, that would put the price up above $1000 making it the most expensive hose clamp :D
