You'd have to ask the locals- maybe someone like allrighty who travels a fair bit, abet, you pick one (who lives up in Qld) or Snow might be able to help you.
YPO- Shell is thinking of travelling up to Qld and the NT and wants to know if July is a good time to travel. Can you please advise?
What are you looking for and why Shell?

I said that first MsSquishy :(
So you did. :) Don't stress, CC. Squishy races through these threads like a dose of salts. She'd be answering someone then realise some other person has already replied. I'm sure found out after she posted, that you'd already said it. I do the same thing.
I apologise in advance if I offend you by doing this :(

Shell wanted to know if July was a good time to travel to Qld and the NT. abet said any month without an "R" in it was a good time. - I thought that was very clever, abet :)
Gotta avoid the wet season which IIRC is late Oct/Nov through till late Feb/March. First time I went to Darwin was November. I walked 5 minutes down to the shops and could have stood under a shower and got the same result.

I blame BALKAN for recommending the white doughnuts. I hadn't eaten a doughnut for years because I hated the fatty aftertaste. These are really delicious, though. Very light, not fatty at all- but I'll be a bit of a fatty if I keep eating them, though. :( They are very more-ish!
