Hands up who watched the wedding show last night, yup I did chalk me up. :$

Was quite funny seeing a bride crack it over flowers, yet she has no idea who the groom is.

Strangled Cat what did you think of Milat?? This is what I posted on the Crime board:

I said after the first ad break "will give it 2 more ad breaks before we turn it off/ change channels"- thought the first bit was very weak, very rushed, and hardly any dialogue. The very first scene was good tho I thought. In general tho, just wanted more detail and I guess they are too restricted in the overall time they have to tell the story. It picked up imo- the flashback scenes were great, the grainy type footage had a very creepy chilling effect, i hope we see more of the crimes depicted next week.

Black Devil has managed to sneak and weasel his way into sometimes sleeping inside, he knew I would begin to fold in winter.
Lol! He knows you're all hot air! ;)

My striped cat couldn't make up his mind last night. Usually we don't see him after he's been fed (5pm- ish) - he nicks off outside and sleeps somewhere nice and warm there. He was miaowing at the door to be let out then, 20 minutes later, miaowing to be let back in. After about the third cycle of doing this, he got locked in the laundry, where he likes to sleep on top of the washing machine.
Peace and quiet until the morning :)

I agree with you. It took a heck of a lot of time to set the scene. I felt as though what they showed could have been condensed into just one hour. The cinematography was great, though. Apparently it's been slammed by the actual detectives involved as being factually incorrect, so it'll be interesting to see if it improves in that respect once the gey into the nitty gritty.

Noooo I disagree. I want more detail. I'd like a bit more into the background too into Milat, even tho I know its called "Catching Milat". Maybe some flashbacks to his childhood/young adult years. It would have been great if it was 3 parts I think not 2.

Detectives are never going to be satisfied. The story is really complicated- I bet there are a tonne of people/characters they've missed out. Similar to Zero Dark Thirty and the story about Bin Laden. In that movie they like "combined" several people into the one character, otherwise there is no way you could tell the story.

If I wanted to know more about Milat's background I'd jump on Wikipedia. Setting the scene is great, but what he DID interests me the most. Call me a sadist, but I like bloody depictions.

Is Ling the new Tom Harley?
Yeah, the Commentary Crew disease has claimed another victim ;(
What I'd like to see is Cameron Ling commentating on all games apart from Geelong.

And what goes on inside the club should stay inside the club. He told the Fox/7 boys that Lonners doesn't cut his beard until he lowers his colours to an opponent. Then they asked him about it early in the game and he confirmed that this is what happens.

That is something that he could've easily kept in-house. Supposition and rumour is all well and good but to have something like that to be confirmed by someone from inside the club now gives opponents something else to sledge Lonergan about.

The reason I did the test in the first place was because I couldn't load a simple page. Now the pages are loading 20 times faster but the line speed is not even twice as fast..
Sigh...
