What does everyone think about Turkey vs Czech Republic? Thoughts on who's going to qualify?

Fancy people thinking Torres would outscore David Villa. He's gonna have to learn to play 2nd fiddle for the next 8 or so years. Unfortunate because he's a jet but when you're competing with God himself then you dont complain. He should feel privileged and I'm sure he does.

It should be a cracking game tonight, would love to see Rosicky carv up the Portuguese, although I think that Ronaldo (Seems silly after only one game) is due a goal. Whats peoples thoughts on France??? are they gonna bail out of the group stage?

btw rosicky is injured (knee operation to come) and has to pause (2 months). reckon jan koller wasnt happy bout that either, looked like he was missing his friend a lot yesterday. i did too, he's good.

dont doubt he's better than torres as seen in the last game. but cmon villa above galaxy ?? he's not the only one. but he's one of the top.

Watched the Portugal game.

Deco was clearly the standout player on the pitch. Had a hand in all 3 goals, and all the attacks seemed to be channelled through him. With Scolari Chelsea-bound, look for Deco to join him there now. Lock it in, Eddie.

The Czechs weren't bad. Polak was impressive, as was Matejovsky. I didn't see much of him at Reading, but if he played anywhere near as good as today it's hard to believe they went down. Sionko was a constant threat as well.

And what is it about Milan Baros and the European Championships? Seems to grow a leg every time he steps out in the tournament. Sure, he didn't score, but he looked a helluva lot more impressive than he ever did at Portsmouth. Anyway, match report and ratings here: http://dascman.blogspot.com

As for tonight, the Germans should get past Croatia. Croatia were poor the other day I thought and the Germans, unlike Austria, will punish them unless they significantly improve.

Poland must win the other game, or it's probably curtains for them, and I think they will.

okay here some reasons for you guys why the krauts are gonna win tonight (just i case ya dont know yet ):

we'll win coz...
we have 23 and not only 11 players (means everyone is replacable by an equally good player)
we got the team spirit.
we got a good coach.
we have no one seriously injured and are topfit
we're best


dont wanna say we're perfect. we still got some things to improve (just one word - defence ), but all in all it would be a bloody shame to not get into the quarter final at least.

so c'mon guys

yep. i like ronaldos goals but i love deco more --> seems like i got a weakness for very little but very good players

I had money on Villa to score first in the Spain game and Spain half/full time. Last night I put some winnings on Ronaldo to score first. Nob scored 2nd and Switzerland Turkey 1-1 draw. Bloody additional minutes.
