Heh. I remember that. Was it on the same night as our qualifier V Uruguay? We went to Sydney for the match and stayed in some dump where the TV got Win and Prime instead of 9 and 7, despite being in the CBD... came home two days later and caught all the action of this on Eurosportsnews.

The last 5 spots in the last WC were decided at more or less the same time. 3 European spots (Spain, Czechs and Swiss) us and Trinidad and Tobago IIRC...

Edited for accuracy. Romania are a lot better side then people give them credit for...

France from Italy, with Romania pinching 3rd from the Netherlands. I would have said Italy, but with Cannavaro missing they are weak at the back.

Well I'd be happy to pick the team with a West Ham player but unfortunately we don't have any .
