I'm a little worried about what sort of girls go to the Casino midweek at 5am to watch a football game consisting of two average teams matching incompetence with one another.

have they heard of school, jobs or study?

Tourists, overseas students (real Swedish people you say). Nah, good for a laugh those Swiss blokes, and the girls looked ok.

There was one funny story though. I was watching the Sweden vs Greece game, and those who have been to Burswoods "Carbon Sports Bar" it can be difficult to get a seat. I ask one of the Swedish girls if she can watch my chair while I go to the bar for a drink. I walk away, and see her grabbing my chair and table, moving it towards her. I get my drink, come back. She has SWAPPED my chair, and thought that she would take the table as well.

Was actually in one. I went down their for the Manchester United vs Arsenal FA Cup tie this year (what a game). Anyway, my mate is a Gooner, and while we are both passionate about our teams, we get along. Anyway, we are just sitting there, talking about Ronaldo not playing and Adebayor missing in our Arsenal/Man U tops, and this random bloke grabs my mate "Get away from these scum" to their corner of the room (front right near the bar). Anyway we are just behind them and soon enough we have control of the game. At about the hour mark, said Arsenal bloke who grabs my mate, comes up to us, mumbles something and throws his drink over us. This infuriates the 3 Africans next to me who all get punches in before security arrive.

End of the night these African bloke get hold of my mate, blaming him for the vodka throwing incident and were about to lay into him when I pulled him away...

Crazy place, they had 3 separate ejections last night while I was watching soccer/playing poker, one of them was a fine chick too... drunk and disorderly... could of had a chance...

Just watchig the Portugal - Czech game now.

Ronaldo up to his own tricks. The 'not touched but fall over and look at the referee in hope of a free kick' is getting a real work out.

Deco has been quality.

Also, someone that is horribly under-rated is Petit. He's a very good player, I don't think I've seen him misplace a pass.

I went their for Man U vs Liverpool (where Masch got sent off) and the place was absolutley packed to the rafters. They taped it off and you had to get a ticket to enter and re-enter. Pissed Scousers and Mancs, what more do you want...

ROFL at that incident. One of my Glory/Green and Gold Arm mates actually works their within the bar itself, he has that many stories. Would surprise me if it was him that threw the punch...

It was this Chelsea fan and he was being racist towards the guy for no real reason. He just threw the drink, jumps over the bar and completely womps him. The Chelsea bloke shat himself. It sure took him by surprise.

One of my friends works there and he has many stories including the time when 1 Everton fan took on 6 Arsenal fans and won with ease. Moral of the story is dont pick on the guy who does kickboxing

Austria shouldn't have any trouble getting the best out of its players at Euro 2008. This week a Vienna brewery promised any player who scores a goal for the co-host in its remaining games against Poland and Germany a lifelong supply of free beer.

I thought Turkey were the better side by quite a margin when the ball was able to be passed. The conditions suited the Swiss but they still weren't good enough.

What ill happen if Turkey and Czech draw as they have the same GD? An early penalty shoot out maybe

Turkey had inujries to their defenders in Gokan Zan and Servet Cetin went in sore aswell.

And they also had Emre out, so it evened itself out in the end.

Hakan Yakin's reaction after his goal was nice. Didn't celebrate much out of respect.

Be interesting to see how many people chose Villa ahead of Torres.

I had an inkling that Torres wouldn't score as many goals as Villa, the Spanish system really doesn't suit Torres, he'll be doing a lot of the set up work for Villa in my opinion.

Of course, I went Torres because he's Liverpool and he's in much better form than Villa

Better form? He's scored 18 goals in 26 games whilst being injured and playing for a side that severly underperformed. We know Liverpool are shit but they arent as bad as Valencia.

Whilst he might not adapt to the premier league aswell as Torres did in his 1st year, over time he'll show he's twice the player Torres will ever be.
