* same game - $10 on over 2.5 goals at 2.28.

* $2 on Germany 3-0 paying 15

* $10 on Germany HT/FT at 2.80

* $2 on Metresacker first goal at 34

* $5 on Ballack first goal at 9 (he owes me money)

* austria v poland - $10 on first goal scored after 27 minutes at 1.85.

* 20 on poland to win at 2.25

Exactly. What he does at club level is of no relevance. They have a very good striker in reserve. Bring him in. Cant believe hes not even on the bench. Poor coaching

They were rather shite in there first game compared to Germanys razzle dazzle. Complete opposite even if Germany are retaining possession, there doing nothing with it

as i've said - we have to work on our defence. that was bloody shit!! not onyl jansen's fault. they just didnt know what to do really.
but there's still hope.
last game croatia lost speed after 60 min. and if we got it all settled now in our defence during the break and if we change the right players we'll get back.

i trust our german boys, so get them now !!!

Well, that was a superb half of football by Croatia, and a rather poor one from Germany.

Niko Kovac is a brilliant player. His footballing brain is fantastic, I guess you get that when you've been in the game as long as him.

It may well be his last major tournament, although it wouldn't surprise me to see him in South Africa in 2010.

Him and Modric have been involved in nearly everything together.

As for the second half, Germany will come out a different team I think, and they need to.

Croatia need to hold onto their lead early, and just try to frustrate the Germans, and hope to get a second on the counter. If Germany get an early equaliser I can see them going on to win quite comfortably.

Germany would be far better off taking Fritz off, pushing Podolski up and bringing on a creative midfielder such as Schweinsteiger or Borowski.

Their midfield just isn't working the way it is at present and changes are required for them to get back into it.

yeah we were quite disorientated. your plan sounds good but if schweini is gonna come in he'll have to be careful as he already got a yellow card so he cant play 100 %
and i also think we just have to stay clear minded and make sure we dont get frustrated.

btw lehmann was the only real good player in the 1st half

But in all honesty it doesn't matter if he gets yellow carded.

Yes, he'll get suspended for a game but win this and Germany are through, and they're only playing Austria in the last game of the group.

Not sure how the yellow cards work but if they don't restart after the group stage it's probably actually better for him to get another one so he misses the Austria game and isn't in danger of missing the 1/4 final.
