We need to keep going with the same intensity in the second half. Becoming defensive for the whole 45min is not going to work. Kranjcar should have put those two sitters away and 3:0 would have been much more securing...

2:1 it finished. Schweinsteiger got red carded unfairly. Leko's acting was disgraceful and put a black mark on the win. However, we were the better team and rightly deserved the win.

France is going to rip apart Holland tomorrow morning, expect Ribery starting on the left side (his preferred) and Malouda making way for Nasri. Henry/Vieira are good inclusions, expect a more aggressive team compared to the team that went against Romania.

1:1 mark my words, Netherlands to start well and score early and then France to slowly turn the keel of the game and score in the 2nd half.
Aggression won't do all that and Ribery won't have any space for his runs. The Dutch will sit back and confront France with its inability to make the game again. Holland may not have big names at the back, but defensively they're very strong right now.
That Croatian win is huge. They've already secured top spot, so the Germans (and I'm assuming they'll beat Austria) will now play Portugal in a quarter final, while Croatia plays the Czechs or Turks. The Germany-Portugal semi final that was looking inevitable will now happen a round earlier than expected.

1 - They're called referees.
2 - It was a poor decision to send Schweinsteiger off after a nice piece of acting by the Croatian dude. He still deserved a yellow though, only difference being that the yellow would've only seen him out for one game, whereas the red will see him out for three (assuming Germany don't appeal, which they should).
3 - The Croat dude (Leko or something) that faked it deserves at least a game as well.
Croatia deserved that win though, they were miles better than Germany. Nice little $57.50 collect for me too

The first tie-breaker is head-to-head, so because Croatia defeated Germany, Croatia will finish ahead of Germany if they are both on six points. You may remember this rule helped dump Italy out of Euro 2004, in hilarious circumstances.
