sydney's late goal cost me 20 paying 40

and panama just cost me 20 paying 56

Collingwood cost me 50.

Spain cost me 50 (so much for not betting on Euro. Once I saw Italys midfield I thought I was a certainty).

But Essendon won me 400 dollars. Swiish

Why are teams from the group stage able to meet again in the semis? Surely they should go to opposite sides of the draw for the knockout games.

Haha I cut loose on Essendon yesterday. 225 on it, cleared my account on them. Put 50 on Collingwood at half time paying 2.20. Fricken injuries. Still im gutted I missed out on the 0-0 draw. Didnt see it coming really.

I had 50 on them at about $4 just for the win.

I don't like the Bulldogs or Collingwood.

I only support 14 teams in the AFL now. :thumbsu:

I might absolutely unload on Germany to beat Turkey. win, HT/FT, first team to score, last team to score. etc. etc.

Yeah whats the story? I thought teams would have gone to the other side of the draw as well. Dubious stuff.

3 out of 4 favourites in the QF's went through to the semis. That would've made nice multi of around 50:1.

Croatia out. Well, they were never really going to win the shoot-out after that equaliser. They shouldn't have been in that position in the first place and should've won the game 2:0 in regular time. But, you have to admire the fighting spirit that Turkey shows :thumbsu:

. At least they play attacking football, unlike Greece last time or Italy for the last 20 years. Bit of a luck involved, but hey, every team needs it to a certain extent. Good luck to them. Croatia will be better for the experience and come back stronger at the WC.
However, I think the final will be Germany - Spain. Spain played an average game last night but any other team would've too the way Italians played. Alan Shearer labeled it boring and negative [and Martin O'Neil and Gary Lineker agreed] and that's exactly how it was. But with rejuvenated Russians playing open-style attacking football it will suit Spain and I hope we're in for a blockbuster. Spains class to get them over the line though.

spain were fighting and did a good job! this german ref was really annoying (= the italians 12th man)

no matter who it is in the end - spain or russia, we'll win anyway

I can see Russia doing it if they play as well as they did against the Dutch and Spain's strikers have a bad day. Turkey are decimated though and I can only see them going through if they defend like demons and sneak a goal or take it all the way to penalties.

Not writing the Turks off one bit and I doubt the boys will either after watching their last two games.

Deutschland 3-1 with a late German goal a bit unfair to a Turk team who fights the whole way through.
