How good were Turkey Totally outplayed a piss poor Germany, but just didn't have the players to finish it off or hold out the Germans at the other end. A harsh 2 match ban for their keeper probably killed them in the end. Hopefully Spain or Russia can go on and win the tournament now

Pictures went on and off in the 2nd half. They just gave the 5 live commentary when it was off.

Turkey were unlucky, but that's what we do in big games, we handle the pressure well (Not saying Turkey didn't, they dominated the first half).

Now we play either Russia or the chokers in the final. I think it'll be a German - Choker final.

Credit must go to Turkey for a fantastic run, if they don't qualify for the 2010 WC with that type of football then WTF.

Wow how gutsy are Turkey? A tremendous effort and it's a shame they didn't reach the Final. Hopefully Russia can go all the way now but I think Spain will trump them, and the Germans will reign supreme in the Final.

Has anyone ever seen a mentally stronger team? I am extremely proud of my country. A depleted side, with 5 injured and 4 suspended, managed to make Germany look like a rabble. If you told me at the start of the tournament that a depleted Turkish side will cause massive problems for the tournament favourites in the semi-final then i would of been laughing my head off.

Turkey had 8 out of it's starting 10 outfield players as attacking minded players. Gokhan Zan and Aurelio being the only 2 defensive minded players. Sabri, Hakan Balta and Mehmet Topal are all midfielders. So, teh boys showed a lot of guts to play great attacking football and being the better side.

Turkey is a prime example of the saying 'the best form of defence is attack'.

On ya guys, that was awesome stuff.

yep. several times. worldwide. so annoying some technical problem with the power engine after a lightning strike they said. UEFA officially apologised
