He's already close to a top 5 prospect as it is.

Wines hype has definitely died down a bit and he could slide to 13 or so. Macrae and Mayes rising up, will be inetersting. I think there are a number of mids better than him at this stage.

Viney, Macrae, Mayes, Toumpas, O'rourke,

Even, Garlett, Stringer and plowman makes his position very variable

Apparently Oliver Wines is a good chance to push Whitfield in the 3km time trial and the beep test. They are tipped to push the currect afl combine records. Another elite runner would be handy.

Yep, assuming Goddard is band 1 (and I'd probably imagine so, given contract size), pick 13 becomes pick 14 and pick 26 becomes pick 28.

3: Jimmy Toumpas
4: Brodie Grundy
13: Jonathon O'Rourke
26: Adam Carter
45: Dean Kent

Might've slightly went overkill on mids but I tried to go best available at each pick. Was also trying to snare Tom Lee at 45 but was sniped .

(Note: I'm aware that list is missing Viney, I fully expect Melbourne to take him in the ND regardless of what pick they have to use).

Nice selections. Will be interesting to see where Grundy falls given that us, GC, and possibly the Dogs don't have a sudden need for him.

If this kid doesn't play at Melbourne next year after quotes of "My heart lies with Melbourne" then I'll be mightily pissed off. Screw Toumpas, screw Grundy and screw everyone else in the draft. He needs to be a Demon. Harrington, Neeld and co. make sure it gets done.
