Colin Garland doesn't play CHB, he takes the 3rd tall and sometimes a smaller fwd if the opposition aren't playing tall. Do you actually watch the games?

I was merely saying that McDonald is raw and probably wouldn't have got an opportunity this early in his career elsewhere. He is a quality kid.. Jeezus.

Fair enough, that's your opinion. I just disagree.

Our midfield will improve with the 6 or 7 additions we're likely to make to it. Apart from Sylvia and Jones, it's still very inexperienced and its a big reason why we get smashed every week. Those players I mentioned all have great potential as AFL midfielders imo..

Garland has played CHB, just not 2012.

Warnock, Martin and Rivers tended to play on the bigger opponents. He's played on Franklin a couple of times, but mostly he has generally played that flexible 3rd tall role.

4 - Toumpas - MFC


I just dont see GWS taking Toumpas, their midfield is already chock full of talent and they need taller types, particularly a young key back. Would be an amazing get if we could snag Toumpas at pick 4, and I think it will happen.

I haven't seen Toumpas (when I went to the U/18s at Etihad he had a hip injury) but from all reports he is a gun for sure. Think he averaged 18 touches a game during the championships (bear in mind playing with said hip injury) - not a bad effort.

The best thing about Toumpas is he has played senior footy in the SANFL I believe, so he can play with the big boys like Viney

Yes we did not recruit him not to play him imo, he has a spot until he proves he does not deserve it.
