Good reasoning but he'd essentially be taking over a role Garland or Watts can and do already play.

Wines or Macrae, for mine.

I agree that plowman looks like a good KPD but we have Watts, Frawley, Garland and Tom McDonald. Losing Rivers is no big loss you our tall back stocks. If Toumpas is gone I too want Wines or Macrae.

would 4 be too high for Macrae? Haven't seen him play so I would appreciated if one of yous could tell me

Wines is locked and loaded at pick 4, unless GWS shaft us

I couldn't imagine GWS shafting us. They helped us get rid of scumbag and in return we got Hogan, Barry and Dawes. We are their best mates, Wines is ours.

I just think it's a case of Wines is probably a prospect they don't require

Current draft order updated in OP.

Our current picks: 4 27 49 63 70 106 124

Reckon you will need another update by 2pm tomorrow, could change drastically!

Close friend of Grundy told me on Wednesday his preferred club is Melbourne.

Same as Wines. Personally would prefer Wines.

If you do wind up with him I guess homesickness shouldn't be an issue. He had a meeting with Port on that Wednesday but would rather go pick 4-6. Could end up at the Bulldogs or Port because he doesn't think GWS will be taking him.

Can someone please tell me how many we have on our list and how many picks we will use

If we take Grundy instead of a mid, especially after offloading Gysberts and Morton (mids) + recruiting Dawes and Pedersen (talls), i will be filthy. Jamar has good years left in him and Gawn could become a top ruckman. Still hope for Fitz and Spencer too.

We're even with ins/outs so for every pick we use in the draft a Cook, Bate etc has to go.
4 on Wines, late picks for smokies and/or 1-2 rookie upgrades for me.

Sorry, no, we've one spot free as per
So we have lost, Moloney, Green, Rivers, Jurrah, Gysberts, Morton, Martin, thats 7 player. We have gained Dawes, Pedersen, Byrnes, Rodan, Viney, Barry, thats 6 players(not including Hogan). I would say we will use pick 4 and 49, and also upgrade Nicholson and Magner. So we will need to delist another 3 players. I would say Bate, Bennell and Cook. A 10 player change over.

Yeah i agree, and it has been shown, you can trade for Rucks if need be, Mumford, Jolly, Maric, Jacobs, Hickey

The wash:

Our final picks: 4 | 27 | 49 53 | 73 74 | 88 | 106 | 124

We currently have 1 senior spot available after the ins (including Viney) and outs so at least 1 more must be delisted for our minimum 3 ND picks.

We'll obviously use pick 4, and I would assume we will use picks 49 and 53 in the draft. Then, I would assume we would potentially use picks 73 and maybe 74 on rookie upgrades(Nicho and Magner)? Which means we would still have to delist up to 4 more players. Bate, Petterd, Bennell and who else? Spencer? Jetta? Dunn? I would guess Bate and Petterd's papers have been stamped. Would also be surprised to see both Bennell and Jetta there next year. Maybe a Bail might get the chop? Should find out in the coming days. Or maybe we don't upgrade any rookies and just delist 2 players?

Would have to be close to the most turnover in a list ever? If Neeld eventually gets the heave ho, at least he knows he did it his way.

Not sure where we'll be in the PSD but thought I'd post this. Don't know how serious a concern his heart issue is either.

Toy left on the shelf

The former Calder Cannon can nominate for December's pre-season draft or the NAB AFL Draft on November 22 and hope that no non-Victorian clubs select him.

I think we have pick 3 and i doubt Gold Coast will pick him up before us. Depends on who else is nominating for the pre season draft but he's worth a look

If we were keen on him and he wanted to play for us then we could convince him to go into the PSD and bypass the ND. Doesn't sound like we've had much interest in him up until now but we might look at him now we can nab him for free.
