I know a lot of people dont want to trade Caddy but what if Richmond offered Deledio and Pick 26 would you be more interested? We could then use 26 on Tuohy and keep our other picks.
Cant see them doing that but it would be more reasonable..they would not want anything extra..and atm want something like 42 back

I don't see Freo using pick 34 in the Hill trade. He's worth more. I'd place him around 15-20, but Hawthorn are fairly decent (Ugh, I feel dirty) so I expect they'd accept the Mayne compensation of a mid 20s pick.

34 would be a reasonable expectation for Kersten, I think, but it may depend on Hamling's decision. He has more value than Kersten, unfortunately, so his trade would command that pick instead. But 34 - 42, it's not a big difference.

I think he is referring to the idea of receiving pick 42 for Kersten
42 for Kersten gee where did I hear that before? And 1.2 M for Hamling ...

Its not bad but not great. Would rather Tucker for instance. Then talk to Swans about Rose... get more GF sprinters.

Tucker is a player I like in the champs..and has good speed.

Blicavs, Duncan, Guthrie and Motlop have all 'developed' in the last 5 years.
Folly to suggest otherwise.
They have developed to a certain point, but IMO not to the extent that most of us expected them to. Well Duncan and Motlop particularly. Still time to do it mind you, just been treading water a bit the last year or two.

Could someone name any of our young or mid tier players that have developed at all in the last 5 years?
Thurlow
Guthrie
Ruggles
Blicavs
Kersten
Stanley
Duncan
Motlop
Caddy

They haven't all become consistant stars but they have certainly improved over the last 5 years. The next step for those and others is to make the gap between good and bad games/years much smaller.

I was fully aware of that and was being a little cheeky. The question never mentioned to what extent but stated 'developed at all'.

None of those 'tier b' players has regressed from where they were 5 years ago. It's just that they aren't the stars we crave.. whether they do or not remains to be seen.

Very true. I dont know if we should've expected them all to be stars but you would have liked to see a bit more than we have. Especially when you look at the rate of development of the Bulldogs list - not the higher draft picks but the likes of Dalhaus, Hunter, Johanissen, etc.
