Caddy's manager on Trade Radio:
- Josh is happy at Geelong, bought a house in the area three weeks ago.
- Not sure if deal will be done - "It's really hard to say" doesn't sound like Caddy would be strictly against it.
- Hasn't spoken to Josh about relationships at Richmond and whether that would influence him.
- He's contracted and GFC hasn't given them any indication he's going anywhere.

Overall, sounded like it's very early days and Josh and his management haven't even been approached about it all.

Well that ends that
It could still happen. Barrett seemed to be pushing the Balme and Prestia links pretty hard, but his manager said Caddy had expressed no desire to him to leave and just bought a new house in Geelong, and nor had Geelong shown a desire to trade him. If Richmond don't budge on their demand for Caddy for Deledio, then it comes down to which one Geelong would rather - Deledio or Caddy.

My bottom line from that interview is it is utterly up to Geelong. If Caddy was dead against it, his manager would have said so. Happy where he is, wasn't entertaining a move, but it is up to the club.

Ball is in Geelong's court and we will see what they want to do.

Barrett is equal to one of those troll Twitter trade accounts. One of his rumours will get up one day

Deleidio now rumored to be interested in joining the Bulldogs if we can't get the deal done.
Source: SEN
Scare tactic to try and get Geelong to cave, if they want to play that way then they can have him, we dont need to do anything we dont want to.

If true (I don't trust SEN) this could be a strategy to give Richmond cause to get rid of him.
I want Deledio but for the right price
Of course being a Geelong fan I want him for as cheap as possible.
We always be the nice guys, why can't someone be nice to us for a change

Richmond will be thinking dogs will give pick 18 but they are in for a rude shock because they wont give that up for a 30 year old injury riddled player, dogs dont have another pick until 39 so they would be better off taking our 36 for him. Need to concentrate on Tuohy now anyway, stuff Richmond and stuff Deledio.

RFC have pushed the LIDS issue and we have not caved on it. They upped it to Caddy and still we have not caved.
Now they push the Doggies as an option to see if we will add value or meet them by agreeing to Caddy.

Next is the 4th stage of grief. Acceptance. And the clock is ticking. They will fall over.
