This revolutionary uprising could end up being put down Putin-style.

I am on whichever side wins.

Sloanedog instead of Brayspud and I would have been a contender. :confounded:
Traded Brayspud to Sloanedog then back again then again to Sloanedog and maybe once more to Brayspud and then we can talk about contention :moustache:

i hate it but Matt crouch is going to be at a good starting price. Cogs too. Have to consider for value. Dusty also.

Tim kelly as s mid only still presents value unless he goes to west coast. Alot of comp for mid spots there so would wanna know his exact role before picking him. At freo he would be a no brainer.

If I were picking Rucks right now im prob starting with Grundy and Lycett. Gawn a bit older and injury prone well more so than grundy anyway,

McCluggage is my breakout contender but wanna see a jump in cbas before commiting.

Parish likewise but only as a forward.

I really wanna reduce the amount of 600k players in my starting team in order to have less rookies in my starting line up want to have a absolute max of 5 preferably 4 or less though.. Gonna be hard to start with out Cripps macrae neale lloyd and Danger though.

Hopefully docherty and devon have great preseasons.

And yes ill be on the heeney rollercoaster again....

Dusty to gain MID/FWD DPP?

What about Whitfield, will they screw us and make him MID only, or will they give us DEF/MID or FWD/MID (played a bit on a half forward flank hasn't he?)

Dusty mid only imo. Whitfield the same.

Going to most tiger games I believe dusty should’ve been given dpp this year. With the amount of forwards that will go back to pure mids next year I feel champion data will give him to us.

Spends a lot of time forward. Goes there straight from the centre bounce 50/50 of the time so surely he will get dpp

Forwards are going to be bog average next year.

We said the same thing last pre-season. It was Danger, Heeney, ????

In the end it turned out to be a really high scoring line from the top 5-6 at least.

Don’t see that happening again tho

Bet your ass there wont be four 110+ avgs next season

If Marshall is still rucking solo next year, would have to seriously consider starting him over Gawn. Averaging 130 since the bye. Currently priced 12 points cheaper than Gawn.

For sure, it's safe to say that Marshall has graduated from "Grundy lite" to "Grundy clone" since the byes.

I'm not picking any ******* risky POD picks.
Starting my team with Top 10 players for each position (Lloyd, Neale, Macrae, Cripps, Gawndy, Danger) cause it f’ed me up this year trying to go for some POD bulls**t.

I need to get this tattooed on my forehead

Bob Fossil

off season trades might bring a few types into my team next year.
fringe players that will move for opportunity of playing more or playing in their best position might help us out in fwd line..
no names as yet, but will see how trades go down.

Even though he burnt me so badly this year, I'll consider starting Witherden next season IF old man Hodge retires. Hodge takes most of the kick-ins with Rich and is often playing loose down back, with Hodge gone, Witherden should share those duties with Rich and score well (as he does occasionally)

Hodge might play on though

Most of this years crop are full midfielders and one genuine ruck (Marshall). They definitely won’t be eligible next year and I can’t see anyone of quality who’ll emerge from this year that’ll have dpp.

Yeah, it turned out that way, but at the end of last season were were only really expecting Danger, Heeney & possibly Dunkley/TKelly to be "full time mids" but really only sure of Danger and Heeney right up until JLT. Marshall was a forward who pinch hit in the ruck and 3-4th inline. Noone saw him coming as a SP ruck this time last year. A lot can happen between now and Rd1. Who knows, 2020 could be a resurgence of KPF's averaging 110+

No love for Mitchell

I like your optimism but the stats don't really support it...

With the exception of this year there's probably around 3 KPFs in the comp in the top 10 averaging forwards (never with an average higher than 101.8); if we remove Buddy who's been the exception to the rule it's basically only 2 KPFs in the entire league that are really going to be worth selecting in the long term. A lot can happen between now and R1 2020 but I think there's basically no chance we get a string of KPFs averaging 110+. If we can get 1 that averages the ton I think we'll be lucky. Gold is and will still be with the high half fwd/mid rotators... but I reckon scores across the board will drop next year
