I'll be doing this strategy as well!

If Pittonet is playing VFL, De Koning would be nice. Should get RUCK/FWD as well.

Draper also a decent option.

Lots of cheap ruck options: Marshall, Preuss, Draper, De Koning

Load up on the big boys elsewhere...

Noice!

That's one gimme pick in the fwds if the CD Ruck love continues next season.

chances of him being FWD listed? pretty much played FF the entire time at melbourne right?
I'd suggest he would be a Fwd / Ruck ......very much a fwd in his Melb games this year

Andrew Birch is that correct ?
Was R/F this year.

Only played 3 games this year. No reserve grade. Wouldn't have enough game to warrant losing it.
2/3 games were as sole ruck while Gawn was out injured then R/F in Rd16 when Gawn returned but only 61% TOG that game. So probably Ruck ONLY.

I'm not sure that the number of games played comes into it. I read last week that he only played forward 27% of his TOG this year. In all likelyhood he will be ruck only.

Might still be worth picking at under $300K as a ruck only. Surely he'll average 80+ and maybe more at GWS.

Fingers crossed he gets R/F though.

Expect a big 2021 from?

Riewoldt: "Hunter Clark. I think he's a super player.

"He got a lot more confident towards the end of the year, you started to see him take players on when there was congestion and then use the footy really well."

Garry Lyon: "I think he (Max King) might just blow the joint up next year."

Big positional change in 2021?

Riewoldt: "I think it's Hunter Clark into the midfield. He looks like Scott Pendlebury when he's got the footy."

Garry Lyon: "Grab his mate (Nick) Coffield and take him with him and the two of them can go through the midfield."

I started Hunter Clark this year, think I was just one year too early on that one. If he plays permanent midfield. Lock

Wouldn’t worry too much about Cripps tbh. Was under duress this year, but has managed big scores with other big scorers before (Gibbs 2016, 2017). Hes also going to be cheap.

Other Carlton options:

Walsh - Should breakout to 105-110. Also well-priced, but more a maybe.

Setterfield - Huge breakout candidate, if he can up his numbers. SC compatible, and always seems to start strongly before fading which suggests once he improves his fitness his scores will improve. Quasi-premo numbers towards the back half of last season.

Newman - Should be cheap and replaces Simmo in the back half, with Saad playing further up the field.

Kemp - Rookie lock

Williams - Should play more midfield time at Carlton, but probably avoid.

TDK’s still building fitness, but we will want to give him as much as exposure as possible. Probably pass.

Preuss, Draper would be better options, but won’t average more than 90 IMO, which is OK if you want to keep them until upgrading to an ultra premo ruck.

Preuss when the main ruck in his short AFL career

Note that in the 2nd match listed, Goldy played and had 10 hitouts, looks like played mostly forward

Ruck, ruck/fwd, bench, def, mid, fwd, mate, wherever, whatever, at his price, if he lines up at GWS in round 1 as the main ruck (with Himmelberg/Finlayson as chop out), he's the biggest lock ever

Does Brad Crouch score better than his 2020 average of 83ppg (est 450k) at St Kilda next year?

I would think he would quite comfortably.

Is 83 a record low average for a BnF winning midfielder? Crazy

Don't understand how changing clubs suddenly teaches you how to kick the ball. The fact he won the BnF is just a sad reflection of the rabble they were this year.

Fun Fact: Hawks BnF winner Jack Gunstan 2020 D/E% was only 0.17% higher than Brad Crouch. ;)

As far as Mids go though, Brad certainly wasn't the worst this year. A number of highly rated mids were in Brad's company.

It's going to be tough to choose between Hately & Caldwell

Jye Caldwell will also be priced at 64ppg

It's looking like a MPM year so probably both.

Doesn't matter what the question is, the answer is Jade Gresham, ladies and gentlecampaigners.
More importantly, this is bloody well done:

Good luck to Catters and Tigers supporters, either a fairytale farwwell and a Danger flag or the confirmation of a dynasty will come out of it.

Adelaide’s midfield full of light bodies and kids this year, no blocking or structure for inside mids so reckon he will improve his score to get him possibly into the 100’s imo . Won’t be a starter though and may not be able to get him in starting the year with a two week holiday.

After 6 years as “SuperCrouch” looks like I’m in for a name change next year 😔

That's a shame. I forgot about the suspension.

You still have Mr Ballistic though. ;)

That's overall DE though. What about kicking efficiency? Expected Treloar and Taranto to be down there. Expected Adams to be lower than he is. Would be interested to see the stats just for kicking.
