I must say I was surprised when I saw that the Roar had beaten POBT united But then again with my team you never know what they will do. One week they will do very well and win the next they will lose.

Very well done. I had a look at your squad before the round and I thought that I would struggle.

I think I've made a strategic error with my side. My midfield is fantastic but I've got a couple of inconsistent forwards and my backline is, Gilbee aside, pedestrian. I dunno whether to trade heavily and try and fix it now or suck it and see.

I'm starting my trading spree as of this week.

The beauty is you traditionally snag some bargins as the year progresses. Browny's gone down by about 230 thou since the start.

I'm stoked with how my midfield is shaping. I took a bit of a gamble at the start and loaded it with a lot of pricey players in Black, Mitchell, Bruce, and Cornes. But none of them have let me down as of yet.

My boys are underperforming so much im questioning a name change to Carlton....won't be much of a challenge for the roar i feel

The only problem at the moment is the teams are very similiar. I was considering someone like O'Keefe just to mix it up a bit, but if Browny stays on the paddock and starts to warm up, who knows what he could do.

I have the 9th highest scoring team overall since the league began but I am in 16th place because of points scored against.

How's your draw coming home? Most of my opponents are in the bottom half so I'm hopeful of a slightly better showing.

The thing that ****s me with this comp is how you can only have three emergencies. Had a zero when Waters dropped out this week and all my emergencies were in centres, rucks and forwards.

My boys thought they had it won at 3/4 time and eased off.

I was in a commanding position heading into the Collingwood-Melbourne game, about 200 points up and with Bruce to play.

Effing Heath Shaw and Josh Fraser killed me!!!

Unfortunately a couple of the players I needed to increase in price had shockers. Boyle's good form came back to earth with a thud. And Tredrea is absolutely useless. Thought I picked him up with an absolute bargin a few weeks ago, but he has continued to free-fall.

Shaw dropped in price again even though he registered 174. Time to pick him up I think.

Shocking week to drop because it really was a 8-point game. Still confident with plenty of trades in the bank to make a late surge. Hopefully Proud plays a few games to increase his price.

I only had Shaw to go, as I was unaware who BD had as captain I think I made Fletcher his captain. I had calculated I needed 90 to pass his score. Trust me I was a nervous freddie when Heath stayed on the bench for half the first quarter.
